Highly recommend if you are going to Eindhoven. The place couldn't be better since it's so near the central station. The room is also clean and tidy. Free laundry services (clean and drying) are provided to hotel guests.

When I first came across this hotel, the name made me think it might be more of a simple hostel, but it turned out to be a modern, clean, well-organized hotel with everything we needed. The location is perfect – just steps away from the city center and the train station.

We stayed there on New Year's Eve and were lucky enough to be on the 17th floor. The view was incredible – we could enjoy the fireworks from above while being right near all the celebrations.

The staff was wonderful, and I have to give special thanks to Dorotea, who made us feel very welcome. It was a fantastic stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Eindhoven!

Very friendly and caring staff, clean and comfortable rooms, ideal central location next to the train station, the center of the city, and several super markets (all of these are 2 minutes away). It is ideal for students:
1. It is inhibited by students, so a great spot for socializing
2. Student facilities: with a gym, 3 study areas, a restaurant, cafe, a socialization area with table tennis, foosball, pool, board games, and more

Only downside is the price, however in Eindhoven this price is just a bit above average. Consiering the amenities, location, and socialization opportunities, this is a fair price. The perfect place for the first year of studies if you can afford it. If you cannot, however, that's fine. You do not need to stay there. I never lived here (most of my friends did) and I encountered no issues socializing and everything. But if you can comfortably afford it, I would recommend it. The staff actually cares and takes into account that we are students living alone and looks out for us. The restaurant quality is great too!

The staff was super kind and went the extra mile for my stay at The Social Hub. I had a very long day with a funeral. When I arrived at the hotel they provided a free upgrade to a studio with a bathtub and received a glass of prosecco. There also was a very kind note to offer their condolences, a chocolate bar and a coupon for a free cup of tea or coffee. I really appreciated this gesture of kindness! This made my day. Also the breakfast was really good with a lot of vegetarian and/or vegan options.

Great Location and Ideal for Students, but Service Needs Improvement

I recently stayed at this hotel in Eindhoven, and overall, it was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic. The hotel is centrally located, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Everything you need is within walking distance—shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Plus, the views from the hotel are amazing, offering a great glimpse of the vibrant cityscape.

The room itself was spacious and comfortable, especially for students or bachelors looking for a budget-friendly option. The design is modern, and the space is well-utilized, making it a great spot to relax or study. The hotel has a very casual, laid-back vibe, which I appreciated.

However, the service was somewhat disappointing. The staff, while friendly, didn’t seem very attentive or proactive in addressing guests’ needs. There were a few times when requests were either delayed or forgotten entirely, which detracted from the overall experience. I believe there’s definitely room for improvement in this area.

In summary, if you’re looking for a well-located, affordable place to stay in Eindhoven with great city views, this hotel is worth considering—especially for students or solo travelers. Just be aware that the service might not be up to the same standard as the location and the rooms. Hopefully, the management will take this feedback into account and improve the customer service in the future.

One of the best hotels we've stayed at in the Netherlands for various reasons. We stayed there for two nights for the marathon in Eindhoven. The staff was really accommodating and gave us as much coffee and tea as we needed, free of charge. Plus, they were really flexible with the breakfast. We feared it would be too close to the start of the marathon and so we opted out, but for many of the runners it seemed ideal. The staff was patient and informed us on all that we may need to know, the bed was cosy, and the bathroom was nice, too. We believe it's the best hotel to stay at during the marathon weekend!

The Social Hub turned out to be a proof that a great service can make up for average conditions but great conditions can’t make up for a poor service. People (the staff and their attitude) is what matters in the end.
My mom and I had a trip around the Netherlands and this was our last stop. We checked in and were happy with the room and the location.
Yet the next day during breakfast, we asked to clean the only available table by the window and had to hear waiters say “why out of all the spots they need to take that one”. After that, 2 more requests had to be made before the table was finally cleaned (the restaurant wasn’t busy). The breakfast itself was not worth the money.
Some of the reception staff doesn’t seem sincerely bothered to make a guest comfortable: we had a late check-out yet got our cards blocked.
Overall, we did have a good time in Eindhoven and the surroundings but that was DESPITE the carelessness of the staff.
Will avoid social hubs in the Netherlands overall.
