It’s a lovely hidden place in Utrecht. The atmosphere is very welcoming but every time I come here I feel like there’s not enough staff, the place was packed when I came and there were only two people working. In spite of the workload they were very hospitable. The food is delicious but it’s on the expensive side. To feel full you’d need to leave at least ~40€ per person just for food.

Last time I visited was last week and Blij team prepared a small gift for all its guests which I found extremely thoughtful and sweet! All in all, I’d recommend this place for visiting.

Some tasty bites where served for a big group of people. Only thing i really disliked was the truffle mayo they tried to squeeze in a couple of dishes. Just don’t.

This restaurant is one of the most cozy restaurants I've been to! It almost feels like you're home. They have a special concept and fresh ingredients, will definitely come back again!

Nice that they host group dinner, but the space between tables and seats are bit too narrow. The atmosphere is more like a bar than a restaurant (need to shout a bit to talk to others).

The food was nice and so is the location. Their system with trying two dishes in every course is also very cool, but we had one appetizer each and it still was enough food for us 🙂

Nice concept being able to choose multiple smaller dishes at good prices. Food tasted very nice, good cocktails and service was friendly. Despite being busy we didn't have to wait too long. Atmosphere was great with the restaurant being a bit hidden from view next to a canal in a small street. Would come back again.

Very nice location, good food, the service was amazing although the poor guy started on his own hahaha. Starters were simply delicious, balanced flavor and the quantities were also fine. A bit of a disappointment when it came to the main dishes, they were a bit too small in comparison to the starters (including the fries), the fried squits were somehow overcooked and lacking flavor, and the goat cheese puré could have been a bit saltier. For the rest I had a great time and I enjoyed my evening by #Blij
