Awesome spot!! Troy Guard and gang does it again. Different from his usual higher end restuarants. This one is much more laid back and casual but still great food. The salsas are amazing; great variety of flavor for all taste buds. Menu is jam packed with plenty of options to choose from. They hard thing is they all look delicious so good luck choosing! 😉 definitely worth checking it out!!

This is the fourth of its kind in DENVER. Lakewood residents I know are looking forward to their opening night. Tonight was the night!

It was by happenstance that we saw their sign indicating that they will be opening at 4pm. After a day skiing we were famished but wanted to wait.

We ordered their chicharrones $7, los Margs $8/each, pork belly, brisket taco $4/each and queso chingon $11.25.

Among all the above I highly recommend the tacos and the queso chingon. The margaritas are good as well. The weakest link to me was the chicharrones. I would compare it to an Asian/ Mexican grocery bought one. So plain and nothing to it at $7. So pedestrian. Not bad just so close in comparison to the aforementioned places above.

The middle communal table to me was very attractive. With colorful chairs. Very inviting.

I also noticed an upstairs that wasn't open yet tonight. they have an outside patio.

Service was nice and prompt. Happy Hour is not active yet and no idea when. But if you're up to it it's right across from the movie theater in the mall and next to The Yard House.

A friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff made for a great dinner. The restaurant has an open seating and bar area for the more social type, and a seating area to the side with booths for a more person meal with your guests.

The food tasted extremely fresh. Happy hour prices on appetizers make it able to try a variety of items on their menu. We tried their calamari, carne asada, alligator and steak, and all were cooked to perfection. Interesting enough, they also have rattlesnake on the menu.

So why the 4 stars? Though everything tasted great, there were too many toppings/garnishment. I understand a restaurant wants to have its own unique menu, but it really took away from the taste of how well the meats were cooked. I found myself pulling the meat out of the tacos/burritos so that I could enjoy it's flavor without it being lost.

The food here is so bomb! The tortillas are on point. (The are not like the rest the Mexican restaurants in the area that have the thick, white, and awful tortillas.) The salsas are so delicious. Hot with flavor:) not to mention the drinks mmmmm so yummy! Great place for children(kaids meals priced perfect) and all ages. I highly recommend this place! We will be returning soon!

Longtime fan of Los Chingones and the latest addition to the Chingon Family blew me away! Had the chance to check it out before the grand opening.

Awesome space with cool industrial feel, tasty food that is a welcome departure from traditional, fajitas that sizzle, and the house marg is juuuust right! I also ordered the nachos and each chip had toppings! No riff raff bottom layer! Wish there were photos but was too busy enjoying 🙂

Definitely my new go to when I'm heading up or down the mountain and need a break from I-70.

This place was a great little spot we didnt even plan to go to its right next to yard house and the wait at yard house was too long so we checked out this spot and to our suprise it was great they were very attentive and let us try a couple of the salsas at no extra cost the pineapple one was so good a guy whom was helping out our waiter nick suggested it definitely different but we enjoyed it and he let us bring some home too overall im super glad we ended up here i definitely want to go back even though we live all the way in aurora

Our family just had an amazing dinner here! Everything was wonderful and super fresh. Drinks were top notch , ( my wife is raved over the silk pajamas margarita) food was outstanding and the service was great! By far the best Mexican food in the Golden area. We will be back again and again. The cookies at the end of the meal were mouthwatering and a great lagniappe.
