Had a delicious dinner at So gong dong.
I really appreciate that they are open until 10pm. We were able to eat nice tofu soup, pajeon and spicy pork at 9pm.

Lively atmosphere, many foreigners come to eat as well. Staff was amazing and checked in on us. Food was delicious the soft tofu soups were amazing and galbi was a great dish to share.

Exceptional service, clean space, and fantastic food! Best kimchi pajeon i’ve ever had, the galbi is a must have! Free refills on the banchan. Definitely coming back if we’re in the area!

Not so gong dong.
Dishes ordered: Grilled chicken, Baby octopus Bi Bim Bap, seafood Kalguksu, $75.00 total.
Grilled chicken was decent. Low sodium, somewhat plane and simple.
Baby octopus was bitter and overdone. The waiter informed me that it was fresh....
Seafood Kalguksu was nothing to write home about.
The verdict: there are plenty of better eateries at a lower price.

Even though it's difficult to find the entrance since this restaurant is hidden on the second floor of an unassuming business plaza. It's a fantastic and authentic Korean restaurant, with always fresh and delicious food with options that are somewhat difficult to find in other Korean restaurants. I also appreciate the careful service with servers and managers always watching carefully if any table needs anything yet not pressuring customers.

This Iike my 3rd times here with my boyfriend, I can’t believe we found a go to spot like this spot, we drove all the way to NY to NJ just to eat this delicious hot tofu soup. It’s very cheap for it price which comes with rice, appetizers, eggs and the soup itself. It was very fresh and tasty I can feel that every was very flavorful. The customer service was amazing everyone greeted us and wished us a goodnight and have a nice day. Which I felt very welcome and very appreciated it. When I finished some of the appetizers I didn’t expect to them to refills so the women did and I was like wow extra food. !! Since I love their radish. I like to drink tea especially when I eat, I asked them for an ice cup and hot tea which make it ice tea they were checking in my tea and make sure that my tea was refills. We both ordered a tomato soup I believe it’s less than $20 for a tomato soup. Which was very worth it and it’s very refilling the one thing this restaurant beat the others one is their customer services deserve a shout out! And I can taste that the taste of food is very fresh, flavorful, I wish they open one in NYC so that I don’t have to travel all the way to NJ😩, but it is worth it on a cold day ! I will visit soon again!

Delicious! Just ordered take out today at the Palisades Park, NJ location on the second floor and got the steamed dumplings, tofu stew and seafood pancake. Price was very reasonable and gave a good amount to feed at least two people. Restaurant seemed clean and busy at night. Gave reasonable amount of side dishes and packed well. Definitely recommend!
