Richard was very good! We came later after hanging out at guitars and were met with a great welcoming atmosphere. Richard had us laughing and did a cool spinning the menu trick when asked about dessert. My friends and I had a great time and felt good throughout the meal! Thank you Richard and IHOP!

This IHOP is the worst I've visited. We had a party of 8, 5 adults and 3 children. We ordered, and it took a while for the food to come with the server apologizing along the way. One of our silverware was greasy, while another 2 were just plain dirty, with the server continuing to apologize. Once the food finally came out, it was just the kids' food with the server assuring us that our food would be right out. 20 minutes later, the kids had finished their meals, Our food finally arrived with the server blaming the super late delivery on the kitchen. It doesn't stop there, My scrambled soft eggs were rubbery and cold, while 1 in my party waited another 10 minutes for her fresh toast, and another waited 18 minutes for pancakes to complete their meals. The absolute worst service ever!!!!! Even though our bill was reduced a little bit, it should have been completely reduced, and the manager should have come over. I will never eat at this location again.

How hard is it to understand that chocolate pancakes are made with Chocolate, and so they are dark brown?
I ordered chocolate pancakes, and my delivery came with regular buttermilk pancakes.
IHOP - get it together and figure it out. This is a stupid mistake to make.

Good place to eat!! Very friendly and very attentive.. we didn’t have to wait long for our food.. once we got it was very delicious.. never waited long for refills either.. . Trent was our waiter and he did very good.. and we will be asking for him next time we come in..

Our waiter was really polite and attentive to all of our needs, especially since it seemed like it took FOREVER to get our food from the time that we ordered it. The food was great quality, although I wish I had paid better attention to the description for the biscuits and gravy. I assumed that the gravy had small pieces of sausage in it, which would make it a much better dish with some protein in it. After I decided not to finish it, since it was just extra carbs, I looked at the description on the menu again. Sure enough, it did NOT say sausage gravy, but just country gravy. Whoever heard of biscuits and gravy without pieces of sausage in it! 🤔

This is the second time we've come and Miss Jennifer has been out waitress. Super sweet and attentive waitress. Made sure we were good numerous times and also checked if we still had coffee. We come to Abilene every Monday for errands and IHOP is always our first stop in. Will definitely be back next week!

Food was up to ihop standards really comforting and delicious. Staff was friendly and works well under pressure as the store can get really busy, but they handled it well. With that said, if you're super hungry, be careful of the time you choose, you might have a bit of wait. There is ample free parking surrounding the building.
