I had the opportunity to learn more about the Meals on Wheels program and met with their director in my local area. After my visit with them I feel the need to spread word about this program. If you know someone that is the age of 60 or older and is homebound please take advantage of this wonderful program. The menus I saw are fantastic and the meal gives you 1/3 of the nutrition that is the daily recommendation. The elderly are often forgotten and some may be malnourished and this program helps. 5 stars to this great program and for what they do.
