Honestly for how well rated this place is I was a bit let down. I will say the servers were kind and my salmon ngiri was top notch. “Raspberry” hot sake was also very good (I forget what he said gave it the raspberry flavor, it wasn’t just a syrup). But my yellowtail roll was just “OK” and my rainbow roll was really not my favorite - the underlying California roll was more in the style of “crab salad” than crab and without much else in terms of vegetables and all in all it sort of overpowered the rest of the roll for me. Again all in all it wasn’t bad, just really didn’t live up to the hype of its rating.

The service was super attentive; there wasn’t a moment when our glasses were empty! The gyoza and sauce were delicious, and the ramen was very flavorful. The wait staff were great with their recommendations as well! I loved how strong their Thai tea was, and definitely try out the mochi! The strawberry was the best, as well as vanilla and chocolate. Absolutely recommend!

Food is not too bad but don't expect great quality as other typical Japanese restaurants, then you won't be disappointed. Agedashi tofu, crispy salmon skin, crispy rice, and fried chicken skins (cheap too) are pretty good. I can just buy multiple orders of fried chicken skin for a road trip. Keeps you awake and tastes good too. Highly recommended the tofu amd chicken skins. Calamaries is a bit salty and chewy, and has too much and a bit raw (hence strong flavor) yellow onion slices. I'd prefer it with less batter on the outside. Sushi rolls are good. I like the way they cut slices smaller than other restaurants which is a lot easier to chew, to follow etiquette (swallowing whole pieces). I'm a bit surprised by how there's not a single of decoration pieces on the black walls. The lights were dim and the dinning room was a bit gloomy. It could be improved a bit to be more inviting. There was 4 servers for an Asian restaurant of that size on Friday, I'd say that's really good.

Ramen was ok. The Kotteri broth was lacking flavor, heavy pork flavor. Overall though, the ramen was good. Sushi was amazing! Will be back to try other broths and definitely get more sushi. Also, house hot sake was amazing.

I love this place we eat here a lot but we decided to order it for pick up and when we got jome we were very disappointed there was only 4 pieces of chicken which we paid 11 dollars for it seemed everything was made poorly and not as big of a portion which we know how much they usually serve because we go here often. I'm disappointed and feel ripped off and they know it's not right

Favorite new food spot here in Colorado Springs. The food was excellently made, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was wonderfully fast. Despite a slight mix up with my order, staff were quick to correct the mistake without a problem. Roommate and I both greatly enjoyed our visit, and will be coming back for sure!

Popped in on Valentine's night and witnessed grace under fire. The parking lot was packed, there was a note on the door asking for patience due to short staffing, and door dashers were lined up. Pure chaos! The hostess was honest and said we could be seated but everything was backed up by 20-25 minutes. We happily sat and watched a staff of 5 hustle to keep up with patrons coming in, a phone ringing constantly, and door dashers after dasher. 17 to be exact. It was crazy! Through this, the owner and the hostess kept their composure and did not stop. The owner was extremely grateful and gracious. He wiped tables, took orders, and kept moving. Yes, everything took longer but we didn't care. They were obviously doing everything in their power to get orders out after being busier than they ever expected.

The food was great, we had a pork belly ramen bowl and several sushi rolls. All were delicious! Give them a try. 😁

Went for the Takoyaki specifically because it stated that it was pan fried, rather than deep fried. Unfortunately, this Takoyaki was deep fried, similar to how most places in the USA do it. That being said, the Takoyaki was slightly above average, maybe a 7.5/10 with good texture and a good amount of octopus. As of December of 2024, the price was about $10 for 6 which is about average for the area.

The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was friendly with fast service. Overall, I would probably return if I was in the area.
