Carrots were good but overpriced in my opinion. The Whipped Ricotta was actually really really good. The bread it came with was also good if not burnt. (Asked for another order of it but it was kind of burnt which wasn't as enjoyable as the first order) & Salmon could've been bigger in size given the price but to be fair, the salmon was cooked very well! Crispy skin, soft and juicy fish meat that was nicely salted too. The beans that came with the salmon was GREAT I loved it lol

Ambiance was cute but not enjoyable during the evening because the lighting was really bad. I could barely see my food. The lamps they provided did little to no help to provide light. I actually ate something bitter towards the end of my meal when I scooped out some whipped ricotta on to my bread. My suspicion is that maybe a bug flew right in and got stuck somewhere but since the lighting was horrible, I couldn't really see. So anyway, that part wasn't enjoyable. Ample lighting would've helped.

Service was ok- good. Nothing great. Just being honest. They were nice but maybe understaffed? Not sure. But I'm saying this cause I felt like I had to follow up stuff.

Overall 4/5 could've been better if the outdoor area had better lighting, and if portions were just a little bit kind of bigger for its price 🙂 but the food in terms of taste alone is good, 5/5 imo.

Simple but good.

But maybe go during the day not the evenings to appreciate everything better in general

Visited on a Monday night during Happy Hour and was so happy I did. I tried the server's suggestion of her favorite 'yesterday's wine,' which was a wonderful sparkling red that hit the spot and then went on to share Brussels Sprouts (which were addictive) and the Boulliabaise Toast with rock shrimp on top that was a yummy take on the French classic. The secret garden in the back was so pretty - I want to come up with an excuse to throw a party back there. Needless to say I'll be back very soon.

Oh my god. This food. This service. This vibe. Yes it takes intent to get to BaBa but so do it. The Brussels and the tagine and the endive salad coupled with Justin, Gabi and Kailey are just all sensational. We came across these guys from an email newsletter and coming from Australia to visit this place, we loved it. We can’t speak highly enough of the entire package. Make the trip. Book it or just get a seat at the bar!

We found this cute place on the way to see friends. The coffee ☕️ was fantastic and the fries are a treat. Ask for extra dipping sauce for sure. No time for other dishes but the avocado toast looked amazing.

Whipped ricotta with fennel and Brussels sprouts were delicious! Came for a drink and some snacks around 4pm on a Thursday afternoon and there was plenty of seating. Our server was very nice, I love the backyard area.

Went for weekend brunch and we got the Gabi bowl and Baba bowl with spicy chicken. I loved Gabi — he was healthy and fulfilling. Overall interesting flavors and brussels sprouts were delicious. We also tried the matcha latte and signature raw cacao iced drinks but would skip. Nonetheless service was excellent and garden seating in back was great.

So cute, I highly recommend! I was looking for a nice spot for a bite and to take a call. Baba Cool was a godsend. I ordered the bar salmon (which was delicious) and a blood orange mocktail. Came across the owners, who are super sweet. Will definitely be back with some friends and for a date night!

Baba cool came highly recommended. Getting there from midtown was so easy that we were there in about 20 mins. We had reservations, but the restaurants vibe was really chill, so we were able to choose our own seats. The menu was very simple they only had four entree choices. The waiter recommended the salmon. But before that, we ordered appetizers to share. Both were so delicious but in very different ways. The Broccoli Rabe toast was savoy, sweet, crunchy it was my favorite. We also had the baba fries, which were addictive. Everything came out quick and hot. I literally inhaled the main course, which was the Bar Salmon. The crispy skin was to die for. The environment was very chill and was great for conversation and catching up. We ended the night with some cocktails. I had a Mexican Mule the drink was strong and not too sweet. An evening was had, and I we were told to come back for brunch.
