There are no words great enough that can fully encapsulate what Ella brings to the neighborhood. From the first time I stepped into Ella to now, I have always felt a convivial air. The drinks, decor, and dog beer! It’s a non profit ! bar ! that supports women ! (all proceeds go to various charities) and it is a black woman owned ! bar ! Kelli and this bar deserves all the flowers… and exclamation points ! 💛

Very cute and cozy black + women owned bar in the neighborhood. Have passed by many times but decided to venture in. The mango sangria is delicious! I am not a bourbon kind of girl but the bourbon punch was also a hit! Friendly bartender and good music. My friends had the spiked matcha lemonade and the lemon drop which they enjoyed as well. Will be back soon to try the cider they make themselves!

Everything is done with intention here, from donating the profits, to the coasters, the books, the decor etc.

We happened upon this place, and it is absolutely adorable. The pre-mixed drinks were good (esp the bourbon punch). And the bartender/owner makes delicious cocktails of anything you ask for! She also served popcorn and candied almonds (a nod to her daughter, the inspiration behind the bar) and offered Cardi B chips!?

This is now one of my all time favorite bars! ELLA is cozy and botanical and everyone you meet is so kind and warm. I was talking to Kelli, the owner, and Cat, the best bartender, about my love for gin and they made me a one of a kind drink that was truly the best thing I’ve ever tasted! I can’t recommend this place enough!!
