I couldn't finish shopping at Safeway wickenburg AZ. I tried to get some produce and had to give way to a German shepherd barking at me.
Even the person stocking the produce was on guard. No body said a word about this.
I went to the opposite end of the store and could still hear the barking, the dog was even barking in the check out line. The lady had a band on the dog, " service dog in training" she was doing a great job with that. Service dogs are true dogs that provide a true service.
What happened to the days of " no shoes, no pet's, no shirt, no service" leave you dogs at home or get your groceries brought to your car.

I am upset that half of your Safeway in Arizona took the deli counter sandwiches away and some still have it which who has it 5 star to those Safeway but the Safeways that took them out which I believe they should bring them back which means more money for those stores are the Safeway on Shea and Scottsdale road the Safeway on Chaparel and Hayden and the Safeway on Broadway and Rural these Safeway all need to bring back the deli counter sandwiches to improve their service and to make more customers happier. I will only shop at the Safeways in Arizona who still kept their deli counter sandwiches because it makes it easier for people who want to order a lunch meat and sit and relax on their lunch breaks.

Order was delivered to wrong place by door dash. Called store that day they said refund would take 5 to 7 days.That was on Sept 20th 2024 it has been 27 days have called the store on E. Broadway , Tucson Az. 86748 and everything they say 5 to 7 days more. Still no have not received refund yet.This is no way to treat a customer. They owe me 270.00. My friend across the street has had problems with this store. And some other people also. I would like my money refuned or I will have to go to next step this is ridiculous.Well it's been a month now still no refund stealing from seniors is not a good look for that store.

I ‘be been on the phone today from 8:49AM until 11:20 this morning without getting any results. Tried to place an online order for store pick up the website would not let me proceed to submit order after entering payment information which I’ve called my banking institution to make sure nothing was wrong on my end. I’ve been transferred to numerous wrong dept when I called IT only to be told to callback n tried to reorder again. I’ve wasted almost 3 hrs on my valuable Sat, 9/7/24.

Recently did a pickup order at the Safeway in Show Low AZ. When I got home and started unloading my groceries I noticed the cheese had MOLD all over it. I can’t comprehend how the shopper did not see the mold. This is unsafe and unprofessional to say the least.

Wanted to share because it’s not just random good service and good vibes at this store! This is how it’s done right! Everytime I go into this store I see the manager Jerry Schutte working as hard if not harder than all of his employees. He is always quick to welcome you at a glance as he keeps his stride and focus of his task. Last visit I was checking out with a team member named Jaron, as he was ringing me up he was telling me that indeed I had clipped the coupon or downloaded what I needed to receive advertised prices on each item he rang up. I feel this is a result of great training, incredible management and work by example ,as a business owner I know the effort it takes to make all the employees happy and helpful as this store exhibits. Like I said this was not a random great experience, all the employees at this store are friendly kind and knowledgeable and love shopping here! Cheers to the HR department for hiring training such competent team members!

The addition of a mini bottle liquor station at the self-checkout register is offensive, irresponsible, and unconscionable. As a proud 20 year member of AA I know that every second, of every minute, of every hour, of every day, of every week, of every month an alcoholic fights the urge to not drink with the desire to remain sober. Not only is this placed along with the other impulse purchases it provides an opportunity for school children to be tempted to steal and indulge. I expressed my opinion to a visiting corporate executive and while he thanked me for my comments he didn't deny my statement, "thank you but you won't do anything about it"!
So now I ask, will you do anything about removing this temptation>

I have two complaints.

On Friday, I went to the Safeway in Sedona, Arizona, where I live, and they had not a single egg or any milk. And when I say any milk I mean not a quart, not a half gallon, not a gallon, of any milk. I returned today, Sunday, and there are still no eggs. I asked one of the workers and he went in the back and then returned and said they have none. Two trips to your store, and no eggs.

My second complaint is the electronic coupons. They hardly work and I’m tired of standing in an aisle and scanning a digital coupon, and being told by the app that the item doesn’t exist. I’ve even had one of the assistant managers work with it and couldn’t get it to figure out the item. Your digital coupons are so annoying.
