To whom it may concern, I am writing to inquire about the frequent power outages that we experience in our area. These outages often last from fifteen minutes-hours, causing significant inconvenience to our daily lives and business operations. I would like to know if there is any form of compensation for these outages, considering that we do not pay for electricity during the periods when the power is off. However, we incur additional costs in adjusting our air conditioning temperature , which is a significant expense. Moreover, I would like to propose the introduction of Budget Billing, so we will know ahead of time how much to set aside for energy costs regardless of the season. Finally, I would also like to propose the opportunity for customers to set up payment plans. Together, let’s uncover solutions for a better, sustainable energy efficient.

This is the email I sent them a week ago! I never got a reply from them though! Maybe if everyone emails them they might do something about it, maybe not ‍♀️ worth a try though! Also I heard that a News team was here in Casa Grande last week about the power outages. Haven’t heard much more about that though. So everyone who is saying we should all quit paying our bill as a community, don’t bother! They obviously do not care!

Enjoy paying outrageous prices for power that barely works, drops out with a breeze or a bird landing on a line, and that'll leave you sweating in your house for hours at a time during their frequent blackouts, with no real recourse for damaged appliances and food spoilage? These guys are the power company for you. These guys will charge you an arm and a leg and leave you hanging every time.

Want updates on when the power will be back on? Too bad! Want a refund for the hours and hours that you spend in sweltering heat in your own home with absolutely no idea as to when the power will come back on? Take a hike! That stuff is for professionals, not for a two bit, federal run disaster that should have been retired in the 60s!

Want an incentive to get on solar and perhaps help with the shoddy power this poor excuse of a utility provides? Forget about it, although, they are happy to take the excess generation from your solar system, and pay you absolutely NOTHING in return! That's right, you make power for them, and they pay you nothing! Truly a standard model of how our federal government treats us!

All joking aside, of all of the utilities I have had, this is the worst one I have ever seen, anywhere. I'm going out of pocket ~$70K just to put in a reliable solar system that will hopefully be enough to keep me off of this absolute joke of a grid. Stay away if you can.

Rating this company even 1 star is being extremely generous. No consistency and nobody ever answers the phone, unless you’re making a payment of course, then they are happy to help you. Outages at least every other week(while the outside temperature is 100°+), if not more often than that and rarely do you ever get an update on what is happening. I’ve had more outages with them in the past 6 months than with my 8 years of business with APS electric, do not recommend San Carlos at all. If you can switch to anything else, I would definitely do it.

Absolutely disgraceful. For a company that supplies power to several cities in the area, you'd expect exponentially more. Their infrastructure, reliability, and customer service are all abyssmal. Just had an outage this evening that lasted several hours and has still not been resolved. I have called in about 10 times, all my calls have been hung up on. No updates on outages, no client communication, charges on my bill without any reason. Outages minimum once a week. I don't know how a company this terrible is allowed to stay in business.

Terrible company. I have lived with my 82 year old grandma in our current house for five years and have always had some sort of trouble with this company, but for the past month or so has been even worse. Power goes out every couple of days, for hours at a time. It never fails to go out at least once a week. I'd give them a negative 5 stars and a left hook for terrible costumer service and lack of professionalism.

There is no way to view your account to see where you stand. They are constantly loosing power. My electricity goes down at minimum 1 to 3 times every couple of months. They don't send out any warnings as to why or when to expect restoration of service.

Worst power company i have ever had. Power is constantly going out for hours at a time for NO reason. There isnt even any weather going on and it has gone out almost every day this week. I pay my bill early every month. If you try to call to find out why the power is out, noone answers, or it hangs up on you, and occasionally like twice a year out of the million times it goes out, a guy answers who is very rude, and will also hang up on you. Get it together. We pay early and on time to sit in our hot houses with zero information on what is happening. Absolutely ridiculous.

If I could give negative stars for SCIP, I surely would! The power goes off at random times of the day for multiple days for whatever random excuse. They do not answer the phones either. The only timely communication this power company will give you is when they’re gonna cut your power off and want their money! Ridiculous!
