I paid for the top internet package. It is completely unreliable. When it works it’s good. More often than not, though, it doesn’t work very well at all. Download speeds fluctuate from 20 MBs to less than one with upload speeds sometimes worse than dialup. That is if it actually works at all. Glad I don’t have phone service from Fairpoint. If I did I would probably lose all contact with the rest of the world.

Sorry service, disconnected phone service kept internet connection because no other companies you can get it from. The internet might work 15 days out of the month. Don't improve speed for around Renan, VA. Its why I don't jump at to pay the bill on time. We are 18,500 feet from wherever the location point is. The linemen are exceptional but not so much the company for making improvements for internet for all their customers.

If I could rate it Zero Stars I would. I pay Fifty Dollars for less than Third World internet. Not only that, there is no else to get internet from, its only them, so they can do whatever they want, and we can never leave.
