This is the first time here at this location. I got there at 3:05PM. I didn’t have an appointment. There was a short line outside. This place has security check point (other locations doesn’t have check points). After the check point I went directly to the computer to check in. My number was C79. I didn’t get called until hour later. I was called to booth #1 and this burly big guy name Anthony was very friendly, nice, & patience with me. I had concerns regarding my Medicare. I informed him that I’ve been to 3 different social security offices. Everyone including my friends gave me misinformation regarding Medicare. He was very knowledgeable & reassured me I will be fine. I walked away relieved & glad that Anthony helped me. I want to give a shout out to Anthony!

Neil helped me this morning with a name change and handling my father’s passing information. Everyone was so kind from the security folks checking us in, the gentleman who whacked us in to give us our ticket number and Neil who helped me at the window. They each gave me condolences for my father and just were very kind. Wanted to shout them out because I’m sure many of us come in with different issues and energy so bring your kindness in there with you guys! I went about 8:50am on a Monday morning and was in and out of there within 25 minutes! Thanks everyone!

A female agent handling my case was very unprofessional. I only wanted to change my address, but she refused, saying that changing the address would not benefit me in any way. Then, I asked her to guide me on how to apply for a certification letter to be sent to my new home, but she applied to send it to my old address instead. When I asked her to fix it, she told me to go to my old address to get the letter myself. Not everyone has access to their old address to retrieve mail, and I don't.

My friend, who was with me, handled the same business, and his agent helped him without any issues. This agent was very unprofessional, lacked proper training, and ultimately did not resolve my issue. She kept shifting the blame for her mistakes onto the public.

I suggest that the SSA should not employ such staff anymore.

All the workers were very nice except for my experience with this particular worker today. I don't have her name but she's an Asian lady and she has an awful attitude. She refused to print out how much money I'll be receiving in December, she told me that social security is not a bank, and she told me that we are done at the end of the conversation. Don't let people talk down to you ever!
