First year student here! Let’s go through my opinion about the college so far:

1. Campus Environment:
-The campus, though relatively small, makes great use of its space.
-It has a modern design, which I find very motivating when it comes to getting your stuff done.
-There’s a café inside, open to everyone, which is nice. You can totally bring your friends who are still in school there.

2. Student Activities: (subjective, as I have nothing to compare it to)
-The university organizes fun student activities, such as a bonding trip to Trakai at the beginning of the year.
-Recently, there was a student night, with everyone staying until 3 am. Very atmospheric.

3. Studying Experience:
-The structure of classes provides balance—one lecture per subject per week. This schedule gives you enough time for independent work.
-The home tasks for my media production program are reasonable and not overwhelming. I can proudly say that I won’t have a mental breakdown over it.

4. Teachers:
-There is a diverse range of teachers, including international ones.
-While most lectures are engaging, some teachers have accents that can make understanding difficult, but it’s manageable overall.
-Most teachers there are actually practicing what they are teaching, so their skills stay fresh, you could say.

5. Moodle and Classter System:
-The university uses Moodle and Classter for managing assignments and communication.
-Occasionally, the systems have technical issues, get hacked, or teacher forgets to upload an assignment.
-If something is unclear or missing, students need to take the initiative to reach out to teachers via email, which can be a bit challenging but manageable.

6. Scholarship and Admission Office:
-This year, there was a delay in announcing scholarships. But it’s okay I guess.
-As a student from Ukraine, paying 4k as a tuition fee (because of non-EU status) can be a bit challenging.
-Scholarships are only available after paying the full tuition.

Overall Experience:
10 out of 10, of course

Despite the occasional hiccups with deadlines and technical issues, I enjoy studying here. The campus environment is motivating and encourages productivity. I’ve made many friends, and I generally find the experience fulfilling, even though some reviews might suggest otherwise.

Not a school but more like a huge institution for money stealing from students. Only a few good, honest lecturers.

Bad. I came here after spending a year in a different university. At first - it was all good. SMK seemed to care about students and seemingly wanted to provide them with all of the necessary tools to help them improve..

However..this took an unexpected turn.

When we came back for the second year - it was horrible. They decided to randomly change the entire system and not even inform the lecturers about it. The ones that complained - were "forced" to leave or possibly fired. They just disappeared.

We, the students, were left with a decision: keep studying here and deal with the nonsense or leave. Needless to say - many decided to stay. After all, the money was already paid for the first year and nobody wanted that year to go to waste.

So we sat there and tried to do our best to keep pushing forward. Unfortunately, the university (and I use this term very loosely) has not improved and continues going downhill. Among their inability to communicate important information, train their staff and so many others things...they are unable to admit they're wrong. This is a private university. No wonder they do what they want.

Ps: notice how most positive reviews are about the building and food. That's good, not going to lie. But the education (what should be their main focus) is below what it should be.

UK and Netherlands universities focus on Grade 12 Transcript for the academic evaluation process. (I also received acceptance letter, but due to some reasons , I choose Lithuania)

But SMK university is difference.
They focus on my Grade 10 Transcript which took in the age of 15.

both my Ielts exam result and grade 12 grades are great and every time I tried to explain it , they just vanished.

They just grabbed my application fee and vanished!

The worst part is they don't explain with decent reason and leave me speechless.

Maybe racism? Who knew...
