We had a wonderful 3 days at Tiki Inn. We stayed with our two nephews who loved it too, jumping in the lake, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and cycling.||The rooms were clean and comfortable, shared kitchen and bathroom but all were nice, clean and well equipped. It's a family business with all involved in the activities.||We did a fantastic day cycle trip from the inn on their electric bikes. The route was about 63km around the lakes, through forest with various stops for lunch, viewpoints and lake dips. The route was downloaded onto google maps and the bike had a phone holder so really easy to follow and not get lost. We had never used electric bikes before but they were explained and we found them great. A great day. ||Another day we had paddleboard and kayaking around the lake which was beautiful. All are available to hire at Tiki Inn by the hour or full day.||The highlight was the guided night kayaking experience. Around 9pm, a quick intro on how to kayak ( we were novices), a short drive in their van and then Audra took us out in the dark across the lake. The kayaks have led lights underneath so you can see beneath the surface plus you have your head torch. It was amazing! Through the water lilly leaves, connecting lakes to see perch, pike, catfish and more. We heard beavers although they didn't make an appearance. The lake was so quiet as we glided along peering into the clear lake. Looking up the star display was stunning with zero light pollution the milky way was visible.||We had such a great stay. We LOVED our stay at the Tiki Inn. We were the only 2 people staying at the time (out of season, week days) and got very well looked after. It is a lovely peaceful location with great views of the lake. We arrived on the train to Ignalina (from Vilnuis) early afternoon and they picked us up and took us to the Inn. Audra then spent some time showing us a map and talking through the SUO, cycling, canoeing options in the area. We chose to cycle around the national park as there was still time before it got dark. We used the electric bikes - we had never used electric bikes before and they definitely help with the hills! It was around 28km loop that we did with some stops to look around a long the way. Very safe to leave the bike a few minutes to go to an observatory or look at buildings. It was harder going than we expected at times with deeper sand which led us to stop and walk a little bit before cycling again. ||We had some local beer that evening, while enjoying the view of the lake. The following day it was raining, so we had a slow start to the day, then went out for a paddle board and booked the sauna. We switched between swimming and the sauna several times and then Audra surprised us with a delicious soup. She had also put out water with fruit in the jug for us when we got to the sauna. We went for a walk that evening. The last day we decided to get the train to Vilnius early afternoon, so took the kayaks out for a while to navigate around the lake and smaller water ways near the accommodation. The water is so clear, you can see fish clearly and also enjoyed seeing the birds. We didn't get to try Matthew's BBQ as that's only really when there are more people there, but we had self catering and took food with us and the family also offered to take us to the shop or pick food up for us when they were going. They also had a great selection of fruit teas (which I love) and home roasted coffee which my friend enjoyed. ||The family were really helpful and went out of their way to help when I they found I had left my car and house keys that had fallen out of my rucksack at the accommodation. I was very grateful!||I will have to go back again in the future, to enjoy the peaceful location and activities as well as try the famous BBQ!!

Wonderful, magical, special times at the Tiki Inn. Our lovely hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly if they tried. It is such a unique place to stay and we were very lucky to have their 'best' room which was utterly perfect, two HUGE beds, table and even our own bar, with the most extraordinary view over the lake. We swam a couple of times a day, had a hot tub, did mountain biking, hiking in the forest and the trip highlight a night kayak in our short time there (we could have done so many more things with more time) If it's not clear we both absolutely LOVED it and will be back.

We stayed 3 nights at the wonderfully quirky polynesian-themed Tiki Inn. We had a beautiful room with a balcony and stunning lake view. Self catering kitchen was spotless and very well equipped. Owners Audra and Matthew made us feel so welcome and gave us an unforgettable experience including a night kayak safari which I will *never* forget. Outstanding value for money. 6 stars if I could give them. Will hopefully be back in the future.

Awesome place! We went here to go "Suppen", which is a wateractivity standing on a board with a pedal. This was new to us, so we got some introduction how it works and what we should do (it's not that difficult). It was such a nice experience and so much fun. The lake is beautiful and you wide space to do this. Definitly will do this more often and hope to come back here soon. They also have bikes and more wateractivity materials to rent.

We found the place nearly five years ago and straight forward felt in love with it. Since then we'ar trying to visit it at least once a year and each time we leave found something new and great. The hospitality is top rated. The owners are very hearty and lovable people as all the rest of the staff. During the summer there are lots of great water activities and one really worth to mention is night safari as it left unforgettable memories and sneaky feeling to do this again. During the winter we enjoyed the peace and sauna. And if you are really lucky you can get a chance to try fantastic ribs and as a meat lover I can honestly say I've never tried anything like this before. To sum up if you'll have a chance to visit Palūšė don't miss Tiki Inn it will enrich your stay.

100% recommend this place!!!|Amazing location, super welcoming owners, really clean and comfortable, loads of fun activities to do nearby. Felt like staying with friends/family. Lovely bar too with great beer. Will definitely be back!
