Jim build me a website about five months ago. In the beginning things were okay but promises made early on to earn my business were not kept, communication worsened and his wife Lee was extremely rude over the phone, making things difficult.
I hired someone else locally to maintain my website and to migrate both the site and my domain to my new hosting server.

On August 23rd, (11 days ago), Jim promised to transfer my site and domain but as of today (September 3rd) that has not been done. Jim even revoked my admin access to an editor, so now I can't even make important changes to my site and he has complete control over it now.

Even worse, Jim has ignored all of my phone calls and emails over the last 11 days and he refuses to communicate.

I am extremely disappointed and wanted to share my experience with JLM Communications. If they built a website for you and if they registered YOUR domain name in their name (as they did in my case) there is little you can do in the event things go bad and they decide they don't want to release your website and/or domain back to you, also, they can revoke your admin access as they did in my case.
