It may have just been the day, but I thought produce options were limited. As a positive, there were a few organic/no pesticide options and one place had a gluten free treat. Parking was expensive nearby, but there may be other options.

Roanoke has a great downtown and the City Market is a big part of that. We have enjoyed the Market as both an event and a space. The shopkeepers and the patrons are all friendly and you come across some pretty cool stuff.

The family went to scrambled for breakfast this morning. Parking was surprisingly easy. Service was fast and friendly. Several members of our party got the vanilla french toast, which is amazing. I got a pancake the size of my plate plus a fresh fruit bowl. The fresh fruit is a welcome addotion to the breakfast menu. Prices were very reasonable.
