We have held off visiting this neighborhood eatery as up until recently they didn’t serve alcohol. We sampled the bacon wrapped dates as an appetizer. We’ve had them before as a to-go item when hosting friends at our home. They were good, but the presentation was sloppy with the mixed greens covering some. My husband rearranged them for the photo. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs and a 16 oz ribeye as entrees. 2 of my meatballs were slightly undercooked so I set those aside. The menu mentioned it coming with toast points, but those were missing. My husband’s ribeye was very tender and flavorful. The menu mentioned it being accompanied by sautéed onions and mushrooms, but no mushrooms were included. Similar to the appetizer, the ribeye’s presentation could be improved as it was covered completely by the onions when it first arrived to our table. Cocktails were alright, but nothing spectacular. The pours for my husband’s old fashioned and manhattan could have been increased. Service and atmosphere were great.

This is my favorite spot in the neighborhood to do work, grab coffee, food, or a drink! They do karaoke on Fridays guys. It’s rare to find a spot where the service is so exceptional, the environment is so welcoming, and the food is actually fantastic?! Shoutout to Louis, Patrick, Haley, Alex and Joey for always giving genuinely great service and welcoming me to Edgewater! Get the fettuccini Alfredo, old fashioned, or nitro cold brew on tap🤞🏼

Excellent. Amazing service from Lena (I think?). Wonderful food. The salmon quinoa was excellent, as well as the steak and eggs.

BYOB, 10 dollar charge for that and very well worth it. Relaxed and easy going, great atmosphere.

And parking too!

Great neighborhood place also worth it to drive there in the city.

Best service and food in Edgewater! I would even say best in Chicago. My husband and I have frequented AMP since it’s opening and have always had an amazing experience. Luis is the man behind the bar and has gone above and beyond for us every visit. We love AMP!

Great food, service and atmosphere. There aren’t many places like this in the area, so we decided to give this place a try. The staff were so kind and attentive. We tried the amp burger and the steak sandwich. Everything tasted amazing I would definitely get them again. Their brunch options look amazing, I want to come back for their brunch.

I would say that the prices are on the higher side, the ambiance makes it feel more upscale than casual dining. Definitely give this place a try!

Definitely a well needed addition to the Edgewater area, from the service to the food to the atmosphere everything was well put together. I felt like I was dining an uptown or downtown restaurant in the middle of Chicago. Everything was so fabulous what I enjoyed most, I love tea and I ordered a cup of tea. The server bought out and a ray of tea for me to choose from, and it was served in a glass mug, which to me was just an add of class. I had the steak and eggs as my main course and after that I had the homemade cheesecake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream absolutely amazing. I enjoyed my lunch and would definitely be going back again.

AMP Social is hands down the best spot in Edgewater for healthy, delicious food at the right price. The service is unmatched—Luis behind the bar brings great vibes and even better drinks, and the owner clearly pours heart into every detail. From the menu to the atmosphere, everything feels fresh, intentional, and inviting. If you’re looking for a place that delivers quality, flavor, and community, this is it.

We finally had a chance to check out this place brunch. Oh my goodness! The eggs Benedict were amazing and I had one of the best old fashions I’ve ever tasted. Our server Joey was efficient, knowledgeable and a delight! I highly recommend making this a brunch destination. I know I will be revisiting soon 🙂
