Our family chose this hotel so we could all stay at one location to celebrate my dad and his wife 80th Birthdays. Our stay at Angoria was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we all arrived. The rooms were spotless, modern, and crazy comfortable! The location was perfect, right in the heart of everything we wanted to see and do. We especially loved the private party room where we gathered for the Birthday party. It was beautiful and required minimal decorations! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Angelo and can't wait to return on our next trip!".

the customer service was amazing, they were very helpful and cheerful and put me at ease! it's my first solo trip and I couldn't have picked a better place to stay. ||i had to drive in very late last night and the contactless check in and out was very helpful! very comfortable clean room, easy to understand instructions and very friendly staff. 10/10! i will be staying here again!

We were SO excited to find this place on our roadtrip - the beds were HEAVEN, we are literally thinking about re-doing our whole bedroom bc of them. The little bar / eats was cute and mellow and the pool area had a fire place. Super easy access to the rooms, great staff (all very young and friendly!) - and our dog Lottie was welcomed as well, which is always nice. Super clean, great showers, wish this little gem was closer to us! They text you to see if you need breakie delivered too 🙂

My family and I stopped through San Angelo on our way home from our trip and to say we were surprised is an understatement!

As soon as we walked into our room, we knew one night was not long enough to stay here. We ended up extending our stay one night because this hotel was so great. The rooms are beautifully updated, the shower is absolutely amazing and the beds were so comfy. The location is also great, it was close by the Christmas light display and near pretty much anything you’d need.

The staff was great and very accommodating. They have a little coffee shop at the bar so if you’re like me and like a little more than just black coffee and creamer, you’ll really enjoy this.

The pool/hot tub area is a really cool hangout area and I’m so sad we didn’t get to use it this stay.

We’ve already mentioned that we would like to return here and stay for a little couples getaway.

We loved what the owners did with their remodel of an old motel in downtown San Angelo! It was a sight for sore eyes! Very well done, stylish, and fresh. Also very clean. The staff was welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the bath was clean and thoughtful. Our only complaint - which can’t be helped - is that it was so noisy on the street. They are honest about it on their website and they even called us to ask if we wanted to be placed on a quieter side of the building for $10 more, but we decided to keep our room. It sounds like drag racing is taking place all evening…. But we had earplugs so it wasn’t so bad. Also, the neighborhood is a little sketchy but the room was safe and secured. We didn’t swim, but the pool area is beautiful. We also didn’t eat there. All in all, it was a great stay and I would recommend it!

I won't lie. As soon as I pulled in, I thought I had made a mistake. However, my initial instincts couldn't have been more wrong. This vintage refurbished hotel was nothing short of amazing at every turn. First, the check-in process was simple and I was politely welcomed by staff when I arrived. Having traveled many miles that day, I didn't want to leave the hotel for dinner and took a chance with the on-site bar which also served several dinner options. WOW...don't think I could have made a better dinner plan. Best margarita I've had in years and I ate a delicious dinner by their courtyard fireplace. I was delighted that my room had all updated bathroom fixtures, showers and countertops and the bed was more comfortable than any I've slept in this year... and I travel a LOT! In the morning, the bar doubles as a first-class coffee shop while the kitchen creates breakfast magic - loved my avocado toast & parfait! High fives for excellent customer service from Carter, Janika and the bar staff. Anytime I'm in San Angelo, I will be back.

First of all, rooms felt very clean. I had no issues with bugs, didn't see anything dirty on the floors. 1 hand towel had a small stain on it but not the biggest deal. The beds are comfy. It looks exactly like on the pics. AC & heat worked great. Bathroom is nice, large mirror and a body mirror. Great lightning inside, it all makes sense where the lights are. There is a fridge. There's hot water, shower has great tiles. Theres a window in the bathroom so you get natural light. There is shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. There is NO body lotion. They do provide hair dryer.
Best thing here is the white noise machine that they provide! Because this hotel is located at a MAJOR intersection IN DOWNTOWN San Angelo, you can imagine the noise you will hear inside your hotel room. This felt more like a motel room but totally modern and cozy feeling. I heard trucks, cars, etc, driving ALL night. But definitely appreciate them offering this white noise machine. Otherwise I wouldve struggled to sleep as I did already because I usually need complete silence. But I appreciate that there were no issues with the hotel room. They also have a lounge which has live music at nights & they text us what the hours are, usually 7-9pm or 10pm. Theres a bar. I see they served brunch items from 7am-10am. And maybe snack items throughout the day. Not sure about dinner tho. Parking is easy.

We had a great time here. The rooms were cozy, nice, modern and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful! The food, drinks and atmosphere were great. Miranda and Bailey were amazing!! The literal only thing that wasn’t our favorite was the shower didn’t have a door but other than that everything was fabulous! We will be staying again in the future!
