The food was amazing! The place was packed, I think the servers were a bit stretched because it was so busy- and understandably so- the food and the coffee were absolutely delicious! I would’ve chosen a bit more neutral music- it felt like a club vibe when we walked in at first- but someone must have turned the music down, because it did get better the longer we were there. The steak hash and french toast were to die for!

This was my very First time here! The server D’Anthony was wonderful.
I was very hungry and Excited to have the Veggie omelette-with a side of garlic.-it came with some Amazing potatoes!
So I’m enjoying my lovely meal and latte. While I was eating the potatoes I chewed something very crunchy-I thought it was one of the crispy potatoes.
As I was cutting into my omelette I was totally shocked to see a Huge piece of an Eggshell cooked right into my omelette. The nonchalant manager finally came over… he apologized or what have you.
I was so hungry, I just ordered a croissant with bacon and a little cheese.
Here’s the Shocker-let me say this situation was Not handled in a professional manner on any level.
As I was ready to leave-they had the Audacity to change me for that incomplete sandwich, as I advised them to hold the eggs. Needless to say, I will not step foot in that horrific place again.
You “managers” have zero customer service skills-to say the least.

White chocolate mocha was so good. So much better than Starbucks. Also, the blue berry muffin was so fresh and warmed. Great flavor. Everyone so nice and have smiles.

The restaurant has free valet. The server was great and confirmed we enjoyed our food. I had a fried chicken sandwich and added bacon with fries. The fries weren’t fresh, so the kitchen prepared us new fries which were much better. I also had a dulce de leche espresso martini and it was delicious. I would come back here. It’s a nice place to hang out even if you are working.

The 3 stars I attribute is based on a single visit. Their food selection is large, I wasn't convinced of what I ordered, so it may have been just that and the rest is better.

I ordered:
• Flat White
• Avocado Toast

Flat White comes in a large cup. Usually flat whites fill the cup to the top, which was not the case here. Espresso shot to milk ratio seemed to be ok, as the coffee flavour was stronger than the milk (compared to a latte). Foam had a fine texture and was long-lasting. Temperature was great as well, not too hot, which made it enjoyable to drink as soon as it was served.

Avocado Toast was really disappointing. Until now, avocado toasts I've ordered elsewhere around the world would usually have a light sauce or topping, be it simply a bit of olive oil with vinegar or another kind of vinaigrette to season the dish. The one I received was very bland. All I could taste was the fetta and the coriander but no sauce or vinaigrette complemented the toast. It was very dry and for 12$ really not up to what I had expected.

Staff are not super friendly but not rude either. They let you be and you don't feel rushed to pay and leave, which was nice.

Environment is cozy and spacious.

If it wasn't for the avocado toast, I would probably give this place 4 stars, as the flat white was convincing, but I rate the entire experience, hence just 3 due to the toast.

But give it a try if you're close by.

The free valet parking attracted us and only added to the wonderful experience. Service was prompt, the fall drink flight was incredible and the menu is fresh and unique. I had the steak hash which was flavorful and filling. The smokey sauce was delicious and set the meal off. A glass of ice water would have been nice, I'm not into room temp water, but other than that it was perfection ❤️

We loved our first breakfast at Ascension Coffee so much that we returned the next day! The ambiance of this restaurant, which is walking distance from the many hotels in the area, is so relaxed. We loved the decor, the big windows, and the welcoming vibe.

The menu is extensive and clearly labeled. I had the protein brekky the first day, which was very substantial for $11. In fact, I couldn't eat it all and I typically have a healthy appetite. I had the sunrise bowl on the second visit and it was perfect. So, so good if you're looking for something sweet, crunchy and a little decadent. Both mornings I had a matcha latte with oat milk and honey to wash things down.

My family also loved their meals, which included the simple breakfast (both visits), the cheddar bacon and egg sammie (both days), the fried chicken sammie (first day) and the granola bowl (second day). Chai lattes were repeated by two people on the second day, whereas my daughter had a caramel frappe (no coffee) on day one and a hot chocolate on day two. The fact that day two was 50% repeats told me just how much everyone enjoyed their meals.

Service is super friendly, but relaxed. Great if you're on vacation (like we were), but maybe not if you're in a hurry.
