This was my son's first time at a real sushi bar, and everything was amazing and delicious! We ordered from the social hour menu and we were pleasantly surprised with the portion sizes Highly recommend the wagyu fries! The hand rolls were also fresh and delicious.

Our server Harmonie was very nice and attentive. The manager came by to say hello and invited to take our picture in front of the mural in the private dining room.

Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill at Green Valley Ranch is a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. The ambiance is sultry and chic, with Japanese chōchin lanterns casting a warm glow throughout the space. A stunning bonsai tree greets you at the entrance, alongside a massive mural of one of the owners in his younger days, adding a personal touch to the decor.

The open sushi bar allows you to watch the chefs expertly craft beautiful and fresh sushi, making for a visually engaging dining experience. Seating options include cozy, nestled booths and well-placed tables, complemented by a lively, well-stocked bar.

The cocktail selection is impressive—I had the coconut mojito, and it was delicious. The house salad was crisp and flavorful, while the sushi itself was exceptionally fresh and packed with robust flavors, featuring their signature Blue Ribbon crab.

Service was excellent and prompt, enhancing the overall experience. While it is on the pricier side, the quality, atmosphere, and service make it well worth the visit. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic dinner at Blue Ribbon! Plenty of parking at the GVR hotel & casino. Our server Kelly was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. We had miso soup, spicy tuna on crispy rice, a huge assortment of rolls, jidori teriyaki chicken and the beef short rib. The sushi was all fresh and delicious as was all the food. The short rib was unbelievable! So tender and flavorful a must order. So many great desserts as well. We chose the green tea crème brûlée and the ginger bread pudding with ginger gelato which was amazing. Highly recommend Blue Ribbon!

I had the pleasure of dining at Blue Ribbon Sushi last night, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of elegance and comfort.

The service was impeccable— our server Ben was attentive, knowledgeable, warm, personable and genuinely friendly, Ben had an excellent knowledge of the menu and gave spot-on recommendations, all of which were absolutely delicious and made you want more.

It’s rare to find someone so genuinely passionate about providing great service, and Ben made our evening truly special. I will definitely be returning to Ben and requesting to sit in their section again. Thank you for going above and beyond!

The food was a masterpiece! Each dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with the freshest ingredients.

I highly recommend the Surf & Turf, which was cooked to perfection. The Matcha Crème Brûlée dessert was the perfect ending to the meal, with just the right amount of sweetness.

Blue Ribbon Sushi has truly set the bar high. I can’t wait to return and try more of their menu. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, this is the place to go!

It's one of the better sushi places in Vegas! Good menu option. The only issue I have is the omakase is ugly 3 courses and for $125. It's not worth it! What's worth it is the sushi platter! Amazing rolls with sashimi, and they were nice enough to throw in uni! The server was great! The Wagyu rib cap melts in your mouth! The blood orange sorbet was fantastic!

Blue ribbon is a gem of a place. The ambiance is beautiful. Dimly lit, with a unique Japanese wave mural, and dark woods with gold. The service tonight was over and beyond. We started with Joel and sadly he had to go home, but was replaced with Leo and he was just as superb! Very attentive, with our waters always being refilled and our plates cleared. Knowledgeable on the menu. Overall pleasant demeanor. The sashimi 12 piece is served super cold with fresh ginger. The albequore was our favorite. The garlic shrimp rice is perfectly crunchy and loaded with shrimp. The fried chicken us a repeat offender when we come here and we can't decide whether the Buffalo or Wasabi honey is a better dipping sauce. Great job guys!

I don’t know who came up with the name “Blue Ribbon,” but they deserve one of their own. First of all, let’s talk about the miso soup. It was so good I almost asked for a refill—then remembered this isn’t a bottomless mimosa brunch. The broth was perfectly balanced, the tofu cubes were just the right kind of squishy, and the seaweed? Then came the sashimi platter, which looked so perfect I felt bad ruining it by eating it… for about 0.2 seconds. Each slice was fresh, buttery, and practically melted in my mouth. I loved the balanced selection of 3 pieces each of salmon, albacore, hamachi, and tuna. Now, the Tiger Roll—wow. It was a flavor explosion, with crispy tempura shrimp, creamy avocado, and a little spicy kick. The vibe at Blue Ribbon Sushi is upscale but not pretentious, like a casino floor without the cigarette smoke. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with everything BUT the service. Our waiter changed 3 times in less than an hour without warning. Outside of their service hiccup, I was incredibly impressed with the extremely high quality of food and the overall ambiance. If you’re at Green Valley Ranch and you’re tired of losing money at the slots, drop by Blue Ribbon Sushi. Your taste buds will thank you, even if your wallet doesn’t.

I have been to Blue Ribbon at the Cosmopolitan years ago. This is a new location that just opened up here at Green Valley Ranch. I was very impressed with the quality of the sushi, fried chicken, beef short rib and the sea bass! The service was excellent. The atmosphere and decor was very pleasing to the eye however a little dim. They have a huge selection of sake, liquors and wine. Overall a delicious meal. We will definitely be back.
