This is a very good café! The menu has creative and fun options for both brunch and regular lunch. I ordered the Sin-a-Bun, which was very delicious. We also got two of the #BasicBatch egg platters, with eggs prepared in different ways, a stack of pancakes, as well as a breakfast burger (I forgot which one). There was plenty of nice outdoor and indoor seating, and the decorations and atmosphere are very comforting. The service was excellent. I highly recommend it!

This place is too bougie for my wallet. I ordered a BLT that came with a scrambled egg on a French toast bread and pancake syrup on the side. It was $19. The sandwich tasted okay but way over priced. If I ever do visit again it will be to try their coffee. The cafe was beautifully decorated though.

We stopped for brunch here mostly because they were one of the only places open on a Monday and the reviews looked pretty good. I will start out stating the atmosphere is very cute. Relaxed but nice. The waitress was a sweetheart. However, once we were seated that was about all we got from her. I am appreciative of a place that doesn’t make you feel rushed. But we basically felt like we didn’t exist. She didn’t check in with us once. And we waited for about 15 minutes after we had (obviously) finished eating for someone to come over and give us our check.

The food was tasty… but tasted a bit like everything was already prepared/frozen food that was just put together. The coffee, however, was fantastic.

Their marketing is great. And the food presentation itself is also very good.

Would I recommend this place? For a good coffee and a chill place to hang out, yes.

It’s not a bad thing when you have to wait to get into a restaurant that doesn’t take reservations. Went for Mother’s Day and they were handing out roses, nice touch. Food was delicious and we didn’t wait long. I had poached eggs over arugula with a lemon vinaigrette and feta cheese over bread. Too much bread for me so I just pulled the goods off and made a salad out of it. They have gf options, bagels, waffle,pancakes and everything under the sun for drinks including a blueberry lemonade.

Surprisingly, packed! Astonished to see how busy this place was but now I get it.

Unique menu with a bunch of hashtags. I ended up ordering something I’ve never seen under the burger section but happy I did. The social burger was flavorful, juicy, and filling. Lots of different spices in the meat and it was little spicy with the sauce. The garlic fries were cooked perfectly and so tasty!

Definitely worth checking out in the area but make sure to come early or be ready to wait!

I recently revisited Cafe Social with my family for brunch, and once again, the cozy spot in Norwalk did not disappoint with its delightful menu.

Our brunch experience was overall enjoyable, featuring delicious food and perfectly crafted drinks.

However, a minor hiccup occurred when I ordered a Tuscano Panini with a side of potato salad, which didn't quite hit the mark. Politely requesting to substitute the Potato salad with french fries, I was surprised to find a $7 charge for the fries on the bill.

When I questioned the server, she explained that while the potato salad wasn't charged, the fries were added later and thus incurred an extra cost.

From a customer service standpoint, clear communication about additional charges would have been appreciated. Despite the server offering a half-price adjustment, it left a slightly bitter taste. While the incident didn't break the bank, it highlighted a lapse in communication and billing transparency.

In the end, Cafe Social earns four stars from me, mainly due to the scrumptious food and cozy atmosphere. My hope is that they take this as an opportunity to refine their approach, ensuring customers are informed about any additional costs in a more upfront manner. I still highly recommend the place, and I believe this minor issue can be a learning experience for the establishment.

Not impressed with the quality of the food or the atmosphere. Our waitress Sabrina was rushing us to place the order and we were asked to order anything else because the kitchen was closing at 3:00PM, but they were still taking walk-in’s and food orders at 3:30PM. I guess they serve and open the kitchen to certain people.
