Crown Block
Location: Dallas, with a stunning high-rise view

We were passing by and decided to stop for dinner at Crown Block, and it turned out to be an unforgettable culinary experience! From the very beginning, everything was impeccable—complimentary cocktails by the elevator set the perfect mood, followed by a sophisticated ambiance, great music, and outstanding service.

A special thanks to our bartender, David, and services Ili who was incredibly attentive and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered the Smoky Akashi Wagyu Tartare, and it was simply out of this world! A perfect balance of flavors with a lingering, exquisite aftertaste. We also tried the P.E.I. Mussels and a dozen oysters with their signature Ponzu & Pink Peppercorn Mignonette sauces—fresh, refined, and absolutely delicious.

The drinks were just as impressive. My husband had a Negroni, which was exceptionally well-balanced, while I enjoyed a Texas white wine that paired beautifully with our meal.

With its breathtaking view of Dallas, outstanding cuisine, and top-tier service, Crown Block is a true gem. A place we’d gladly return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience!

I absolutely loved my recent dining experience at Crown Block in Reunion Tower! The food was exquisite, from the perfectly cooked steaks to the fresh seafood and delectable sides. The service was impeccable, with our attentive server anticipating our needs and making sure we had everything we needed. But the real highlight was the view! The floor-to-ceiling windows offered breathtaking panoramic vistas of Dallas, especially stunning during sunset. It was truly a memorable evening. While the restaurant was previously occupied by another establishment, Crown Block has definitely raised the bar. I highly recommend it for a special occasion or a night out with friends and family.

The service tonight was amazing! The cocktails were the high of the night for sure. The ambiance being up on the tower is worth the price for sure. The food was good but nothing mind blowing. You’re mostly eating here for the experience. The highlight was the lobster bisque as far as the food goes. But we had a great time and it was very unique.

We visited this place and were absolutely delighted! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and perfect for a great time. The view is simply breathtaking—it was a pleasure to enjoy it during dinner. The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and welcoming. Everything was delicious, except for the burger, which didn’t quite meet expectations. But overall, a fantastic experience!

Came here for my wife's birthday. Had a great view; the food was great except for the burnt onion rings. Everything else was excellent. I also got great service from the hostess, both downstairs and upstairs. Once we were seated at our table, I felt rushed to order. Once we ordered drinks and our food, we felt even more rushed to finish. That would be fine, because that's how restaurants work—the faster you turn a table, the more you make—but we were trying to enjoy our very expensive dinner, and I was only asked once if I wanted another beer or my wife another drink. I got awesome service from the lady refilling the water cups. Also, our server had no charisma; he was just blah, just there. Took our order and that was it he maybe checked on us like twice maybe three times and that's counting the time he took our order and dropped off the check

Not sure why this place has such a low rating. The food and drinks here were very well worth it. The view on the reunion tower was great as well! Having steak and alcohol and pasta was worth it. The prices are at a high premium. Though the food is very much worth it. Make sure to make reservations way ahead of time, especially on Holidays.

Ordered Cornflake crusted french toast, Rosewood sliders, the Red Zone breakfast, and the Rosewood chicken fried steak. We also had the brunch buffet. The french toast was very good. It was sweet without the syrup. The sliders were very juicy. There were only 2 sliders. The fries were different, I honestly wasn't a big fan of them. The breakfast plate had a good size portion and was very good. The chicken fried steak was by far the best plate. It had a good-sized steak. I am very picky about chicken fried steak, and this was one of my favorites. The buffet had a lot of options. Some of our favorites were the ham, prime beef striplion, and the ceviche. The desserts were hit or miss. I didn't think the strawberry shortcake was sweet enough. Biscuits were used instead of shortcake. The small chocolate pies were great. We were a group of four, so there were varying taste buds. Overall, we thought the food and options were very good. The restaurant is nice, a bit cramp, but spectacular views. The staff was outstanding. Our server, Angel, and the bussers were great. Glasses were kept full. Everyone was clearing plates, bringing us clean silverware. Angel was busy but always came by to check on us. The hostesses upstairs and downstairs were very friendly. We had a great time.

I must say the reservation was perfectly handled. Ryan, the manager, ensured that our table was placed in the best spot, offering us the most beautiful view while still providing an intimate dining experience. It was clear that he and his team are dedicated to creating a top-tier experience for every guest.

The experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service stood out thanks to Edgar waiting on us. He was very engaging and attentive to our experience.

This dinner was one to remember. I highly recommend here to anyone looking for great food, stunning views, and outstanding service!
