Wow where do I start...

Me and my Hens went on Saturday evening for my hen party and it was absolutely brilliant.

The host Richard was an absolute babe and had us in stitches with his flamboyant style and he's witty ways. He made us feel so special mentioning our party and really getting involved with us - he really made the night. He also got rather pally with my pink d**do sticking it to the Bingo ball machine and making everyone worship it, absolutely epic ?.

The atmosphere was fun and bubbly with no attitude and everyone was rooting for each other.

We booked the private snug area for 12 people which was nice and out of the way, the only thing that would of been easier for us as a party was to be closer to the bar as we had problems at times scanning the QR Code to order and the bar was the other side of the room.

Can not wait to return again.

What a vibe!!!! The host was phenomenal and high energy, the theme was 90’s garage and the music and dj understood the assignment. Went on a Friday and while it was busy, it was not full, but that was great for the host to give equal share crowd work. The prizes were good (Amazon gift cards, headphones, wireless neck fan). Nicely timed games with dance and drink interludes. Reccomend for large groups, friends, work, hen do, all of ya!

Highly recommend the bottomless tacos + a glass of prosecco deal - it was really good value for the amount of food and the quality.

We tried all 4 tacos, but our favourite was the ox cheek taco which was meaty and melt in your mouth. You also get some cheesy nachos for the table too which was a nice surprise!

Music choice fit the vibe, garage tunes are a bop.

Thanks to our server Thea for being so attentive and friendly, made our experience very chilled and pleasant!

Maybe we’ll be back for some bingo next time 🙂

Absolutely disgraceful, fraudulently charging people with secret service charge additions to everything without proper disclosure!

For anyone who has been here recently and just bought drinks they add 12.5% to everything without informing you. When I entered I asked for a drinks menu for beers/ wines but the bartender said they did not have menus for the drinks except a small one for cocktails, this menu (ill add a picture) does not mention anything about additional charges but they will add one without saying and there is no itemised breakdown infront of you to see.

The bar tender did not know the prices of beers/ wines (apparently) so I ordered a pint of beer and glass of wine which came to £18.56! Before paying I asked if he can tell me what the exact prices are, this came to £16.50 so I had to ask where the extra £2 was coming from and he said its service charge!..... I was literally standing at the bar so what service is he giving me, what is he being paid for otherwise? There were no menus or listing for beer and wine so adding secretive charges like this is actual fraud on the customer.

After buying the drinks (removed service charge) I had a look for menu's afterwards and could not find any drinks menu's that reference service charges. Their food menu at the bottom has a small print line stating they add service charge of 12.5% but I was not ordering food.

Why are you adding 12.5% service charge to every single item and not informing customers? At the second bar (downstairs) in the venue the bar guy simply handed me a can and glass so what service is being implemented here? Why is it now my inconvenience to ask every single time to remove the service charge? At what point does a business now think that customers need to pay an extra £1 ish per drink for a staff member to do what they are already being paid to do?

Absolutely disgrace of a place. The fact the bar tenders don't even know the price of drinks (apparently) or have menu's seems to prove that they and the business owners don't want anyone to have clarity of how much they should be paying.

The only other mention of service charge was on the paper receipt after paying which you have to request for.

I've attached the menu's in the venue to this review. The cocktail one has no mention of service charge and there is not one for beers and wine as far as I could see (and asking multiple staff).

Not to even mention that putting a downer on the evening but each of their bingo events seems to force people to do some sort of idiotic dancing which infact alot of people do not want to do so not just myself but people around us did not want to "win" at bingo because we do not want to have to do some form of bizarre humiliation dance, it's not fun or necessary especially when numerous people kept filming.

We bought vouchers with Timeout and tried their tacos at Bar22. They were amazing!
? ? ?
The soft shell crab ? was our favourite! Very crispy and full of flavour.
The popcorn ? coated cauliflower was also very delicious! At first we thought it was strange but the cauliflower was creamy and the popcorn coat made it so crunchy.

We also tried their alcoholic jelly, very sour but it was appetising!! They can make it a bit bigger!

We’d never tried bingo before but gave Dabbers a shot.

£20 each seemed quite steep for bingo with a maximum prize of £50, but in fairness the host puts on a hell of a show for 90mins and you can’t fault his energy and effort.

It’s cheesy, drinks are expensive and all very silly, but it got everyone moving and laughing and having fun and staff did a great job of keeping the energy up.

It’s not something I’d be take up as a regular hobby, but I’d definitely go again and respect your the host for putting in so much relentless energy.

Honestly I don’t even know what I was thinking when I booked this experience with my Best Friend. If you’re under 40 don’t bother showing up. Entertainment was average however it will cost you an arm and a leg for the drinks and food. They even charged us 40% VAT for the food and drinks we got, which is unbelievable. If you are mad enough to participate in the games they offer, feel free to waste your money and come here.
