Excellent!! There are brochures and maps of Kodiak Island along with a small gift shop that showcases local artists and photographers. The staff will guide you exactly where you want to go. You will learn about daily fishing, wildlife and hiking/adventure excursions. If you are looking for reccomendations on where to stay, what to eat or just learn more about "The Island of the Great ? Bear" this is the place!!?

When I first got here, I didn't think there was anything to do on the island... BOY WAS I WRONG! Discover Kodiak opened my eyes! So many great tours and hikes. I even witnessed them speaking French and Italian for the cruise ship passengers. Such a wonderful group of helpful staff members!

?Don’t be like me and visit the Discover Kodiak visitor center last, that’s my best advice! Kind people, cool suggestions, and some impressive photos of the Kodiak wildlife also discovered. And to be noted, I found the official visitors guide to Kodiak here and it shines a bit light on the history....well I’ll let you discover! Enjoy Kodiak! Coho, Chum, Pink, Red 4/6, King, Pink 1, Pink 3, Pale 2/4 .....Freezer.... love you Alaska!
