Hidden gem! We randomly found this lovely spot walking through the streets near the Prado. We enjoyed it so much we came two nights in a row. Gaston was our waiter both nights and he was great! The food and atmosphere was such a wonderful surprise. We will be back and we will be recommending to anyone who comes to Madrid. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Read the nice reviews and decided to find this restaurant. Walked in the door & loved what we found. As others suggested : get ‘table service’ - Water, great bread/rolls, some unusual but delicious crackers…. And the tastiest olive tapenade I have ever! Yummy... My friend had fish tacos, I opted for chicken curry. We’ve been in Barcelona for 3 weeks, this is our first night in Madrid but we agreed - this was one of the top 3 most enjoyable meals we’ve had in Spain. And we liked the decor, the beautiful way the food was presented and how freshly it was prepared. Note: The waiter/bartender/manager (see the second picture) made us feel so welcome and we really liked the wine he suggested. Relaxing, delicious evening.

This is a must when in Madrid.
We were truly blown away by the quality and creativity in which the food was served. We stayed in Madrid for 6 days and this was the best place where we’ve eaten. We got the burrata, croquettas with risotto, bao buns, fish tacos and the chicken curry and we would recommend al these dishes. However; I imagine everything being as good as what we ended up getting.

I visited yesterday and it was an amazing meal and had a great Ambience with good music. Special thanks to the manager Fernando, who took care of my entire meal and ensured a memorable experience.
Also i tried out the green prawns, salmon papillote and chocolate mousse, all of which were so delicious.
Kudos el social club!!! Keep it up!!

Fantastic place with friendly and welcoming staff. Such a charming host! Everything we ordered was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The steak and chips was truest yummy! Nice relaxed atmosphere too!

I cannot say enough good things about El Social Club. My boyfriend and I ended up here by accident and it was probably our favorite meal in Spain. From the starters (an olive tapernade I ate with a spoon), to the apps (Chicken satay that literally fell apart it was so tender) to the absolutely incredible beef ribs that I am still thinking about 5 days later...this place is such an incredible hidden gem!!
