This place is just amazing. What a great addition for Sherwood. Keto meals on demand, lots of wonderful pastries and baked goods and a full bar to boot! The food is outstanding and the wait staff is wonderful.

Food was very good. Burger was huge but amount of fries was fairly small. Service was a little lacking. Server never refilled drinks was unfamiliar with the menu.

Edit: We were there Saturday night 9/15. I could tell the server had to be new. She had a bit of deer in the headlights look. We will be back. There was food other patrons had that I want to try. Especially the fried chicken sandwich.

This will be our bakery from now on. I can't say enough on how they have impressed me during the last week. We went to a cookie decorating event for Father's Day and fell in love. We've now ordered a cake for an upcoming birthday party.
Update: I can't even begin to share my excitement over this place. They did such an amazing job on the cake. Perfect!!! It was exactly what I wanted and the birthday boy loved it! And the guested loved eating it. Next time I need business cards to hand out.

Very good food and friendly staff. Fried pickles are very good. Very good meal. However I wish the would have been more attentive to the lack of napkins. 1 per guest until we asked for more. Other then that I would try them again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. We have tried this restaurant twice. Once via Bite Squad And the order was completely messed up. When we contacted the owner she stated it was not her fault and was unwilling to resolve the issue. So we tried it in person, we waited an hour and a half for our food which was cold, the order was incorrect even after we had told our waiter that we were frustrated and upset for waiting so long. This is after I had asked three times for a refill, which we had to get ourselves. AND He still tried to charge us for the food that we sent back (because it was incorrect) and did not ask for a replacement because not want to have to wait another hour and a half. Also, they served half of our table 1st, the other half had to wait another 20 minutes before they got their food. However the table next to us got great service, and then after they left, the owner came in and sat there. The owner was sitting at the table next to us, and never once offered an apology or anything to help make it right! Apparently her ex-husband was our waiter, so whatever their personal issues are they are rolling over into their customer service as well. We always try to support independently owned businesses, however I cannot endorse this place again.

We tried the specials. Chicken and Dumplings and my wife had the meat loaf and fried potatoes and squash. My C&D was good, and the right temp. However the wife's Meatloaf was a very small portion and was room temp and her fried potatoes were gray, cold and crusty. I know they are new but even new something like that cannot come out that window to a customer. Keep this up you won't get past the new phase. Today would not bring me back to eat there. Service was also shaky but she was alone but there were only two other tables. The manager asked and we told him. He went to talk to the kitchen. Maybe who knows but not a good start. We eat out everyday ,have been for 35 years. We know what to expect to be good enough to last.

We had our family Holiday meal there.
Good: Food was good, staff needs more training but they were attentive. When we asked for something they did provide. ie. Cranberry sauce for turkey. to
The bad: They only gave us 8 rolls for 14 people. There was only left over deserts because they were going to be closed the next few days. They would sell them to us at a discount.
I would go back because the food was good, but to hold an event I would be more specific on what I expect and need!!!!

I wanted to love this place. I found it hunting for a locally owned bakery in NLR. As of this posting, there’s not one. But Sherwood, ok that’s not too far. I arrived, entered, and was immediately confused as to weather I needed to order from the counter or take a seat. After looking around someone hollered at me to “just sit anywhere”.

Menus were not kept on the table, so I waited a few minutes for my server to notice I was there and bring me one. She was pleasant but distracted. Nothing happen during that visit that didn’t begin with me looking around for someone to pay attention, followed by the manager shouting at the waitress to do whatever it was.

Staff shouted over the restaurant frequently. I personally heard my waitress take 3 cigarette breaks in the 40 minutes I was there.

Another staff member set items down on my table while I was eating. No acknowledgement that I was there or that maybe that wasn’t the smoothest move she could have chosen.

The food was pretty good. I got chicken fried steak with onion rings and fried okra. The okra was fantastically fresh! Good job kitchen staff!!

After all of that, I didn’t try the bakery part of their service. It wasn’t what I was looking for really and after the service I received; I just wasn’t interested anymore.
