I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but we went early with a reservation—only to find out they only seat groups of 4+. Surprise! That info would've been nice upfront.
We ended up at the bar, which turned out great thanks to the hilarious bartender. Drinks were strong, music was fire, and prices... well, my bank account is still recovering. Worth it for the vibe, though! By the time we left, it was overcrowded, so early arrival is greatly recommended!

This place has some very nice staff compared to other places I’ve been in Chicago. It was so nice to have staff treat us like people rather than just another $$$. They still accommodated us after we were an hour late for our reservation too! Thank you staff !

Tables are only for a certain amount of time so be prepared to either leave before your bottomless mimosas are done or just stay standing up near the bar.. not really impressed. It selena theme hardly any s9ngs from her...

Wow! My new favorite spot in Chicago. Gold Coast Social has the best food and even better cocktails! Their menu has something for everyone. From the barbecue lover to the picky eater, my group had the best time and loved all our dishes. Make sure you leave room for the yummy food and a few of their unique cocktails. You won’t regret it!

I love that they had live country music and lots of spots to take fun photos. I kind of want to work there so I can wear a light up cowgirl hat on the job. Can’t wait to return!

It’s always a vibe at Gold Coast Social! Ambiance and music is always on point. Their staff is amazing and their brunch is NEXT LEVEL! Perfect spot for celebrations- birthdays, bachelorette parties, you name it! Hands down my favorite spot in the city!

Gold Coast Social is the best of both worlds, restaurant and bar with a touch of country vibes. Gold Cost Social is beautiful, with great live music and DELICIOUS food and drinks. I highly recommend trying the I.Y.K.Y.K, the steak tacos and the Mac&Cheese. I am for sure coming back, it was just too good and now I want to try the rest of their amazing menu.

We went here yesterday 1/11/25 to celebrate a birthday. Place was okay when we got there, the service was good at first and the food and music were good. We wanted to order some chilaquiles and they told us they didn’t have anymore, but our friend asked for some too and apparently now they did have some. That was confusing.
Anyway we ordered a pitcher of vegas bombs as well, and a bit after they randomly just kicked us out. As soon as we paid, a security was right behind us telling us we had to go, not really giving us time to get our stuff. We were not rowdy or messy and so we don’t understand why we were escorted out. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE and would not be going back!

Although we made a reservation for New Years Eve dinner WEEKS in advance, we showed up on time and they demanded $100 before they would seat us! A $100 extortion payment for a table! We walked out, went to Maple and Ash where we had a fabulous dinner and were treated with respect. Will NEVER return to the Gold Coast UNSOCIAL Extortion Club.
