A charming and family-oriented spot with a lively atmosphere.

Although I had sweet potato fries and champagne as my meal (no luck for the V-Crew), the service, socializing, and people-watching were enough.

Johnny T's is a blend of a sports bar & live entertainment (held upstairs in the Ultra Renaissance Room) offering Southerner food with a modern twist.

Upstairs from Johnny T's is the sultry ultra renaissance room, one of downtown Jackson's premiere entertainment and rental venues. Johnny T's and Renaissance Room offer something different to local and foreign patrons and ensure you enjoy a memorable food and entertainment experience every time.

I recommend Johnny T's to anyone living in or traveling to Jackson, MS.

The food was so good, I forgot to get a picture. I ordered the fried catfish and my husband the wings. Both dishes were hot and delicious 🤤. That catfish was the best I had in a while. My husband ordered the Rick James Daiquiri. It slapped. Our bartender was cool as a fan. We would be back next time we visit Jackson

WOW! We found this place late night. It's my pleasure to inform everyone around this area. The shrimp and grits and the catfish are both the best we have had ANYWHERE! The staff was amazing! Loved the music and the atmosphere. Will be back.

Had a great time visiting from Chicago. 2 floors of music options, downstairs was playing oldies but goodies, upstairs was playing the hottest Rap & R&B. The patio was huge, and did I mention the food and drinks were on point, Free parking, highly recommend

The food and drinks here are great and worth the price! However, I visited a few weeks ago for a comedy show and ordered the fried livers (best I ever had, no lie). I’m not even a big fan of livers. I returned this weekend JUST to get those livers and I was very disappointed at the portion size compared to my previous visit. I ordered and then ordered seconds which only had 4 livers and a plate full of lettuce on the side. The livers were still amazing, but for $14 and that portion for the cheapest food to buy out of a grocery store is INSANE! I hope this isn’t the norm…

Fantastic place off the beaten path! Very friendly people and great service. The food was first rate. Our server Batrika was nice and helpful. The fried chicken was very good and the chopped steak had a good sear and great flavor. Food is served in a Styrofoam box with plastic utensils. This makes eating some items tricky, but it keeps overhead down. If not for that, this would be a 5 star establishment.
