Casual Mexican-inspired food with fun, kitschy 80s decor. The fresh lime margaritas are fantastic, and the food portions are huge and perfect for sharing!

The green chili queso was tasty, though the chips tasted store-bought rather than homemade. The burritos were massive and smothered in sauce. The fajita burrito, while flavorful, could have used a touch of sour cream and rice to round it out.

Overall, it’s a great spot for a quick meal with attentive service. Perfect for casual dining!

Jose O'Shea's has been a local favorite for decades. Back when we lived in Denver we went there at least once a week. On a recent trip, while visiting family, we popped in here again and we're pleased to see that nothing had changed. We were treated to the same high quality food, service, and atmosphere, leaving so full we could barely walk.
One of the coolest things about Jose O'Shea's is that they have multiple flavors of margaritas. My sisters chose the traditional lime while I tried the pomegranate Rita. Oh my goodness, talk about delicious! This cool, fruity blended Margarita featured a sugar rim with the perfect blending of tequila and other yumminess. As I'm basically a teetotaller, I only had one but could have easily tried a cranberry or peach after the pomegranate. Perhaps next time?
Now on to the food! I ordered the nachos which were served on a metal tray with an excellent blend of cheeses, beans, guacamole, extra thick chips, sour cream, and black olives. The next time I get them I will most likely leave off the Pico as it was a bit oniony for my taste. My sisters ordered the steak tacos and the cream cheese enchilada which were also given high marks for deliciousness!
Our service was excellent and we received our food just a few minutes after we arrived, in the late afternoon, so there was not much of a crowd.

Cannot wait to go to Denver again so that I can try another one of those fruity Margaritas! I think this time I may go with the cranberry?

Food was bland! The chicken in the tamales taste like it came from a can. I don’t know what the hype is about… but I can say the atmosphere and the building was beautiful and the drinks were strong and worth the price ✨✨

The inside of the restaurant is nicely done. Festive. The food was sadly just average. I was hoping to give this a better rating with the atmosphere and a great server. Bottom line is it is a nice place to go out and eat, but don't expect to have food that you'll remember.

I've been here a few years back and then recently for valentines day. Both visits were great service. Food came out extremely fast especially for being so busy on valentines day. Food was solid, just expected a bit bigger portions for the price. Their "giant" burritos were average sized. Clean and great atmosphere, staff was amazing.

Overall some great food, but there was a cockroach crawling across the table when we arrived. It didn't stop us though from trying this place- of course hoping they called an exterminator as that ended up creating a scene when we asked for another table. Anyways, besides that, the first impressions were good. The architecture and design of the restaurant is really cool and felt authentic. The food was delicious and so were the margaritas. The large blood orange margarita was good and decent size and the enchilada olé combination platter I got was very good. That platter came with beef, chicken, and cheese. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheese enchilada since it looked like it was made with cheddar which doesn't have enough flavor in my opinion- better made authentically with Oaxaca cheese. But the beef covered in queso sauce was amazing as well as the chicken covered in hot sauce. Speaking of sauces, the chips and salsa were also good with their salsa having a nice kick to it, more of a kick than most places. To finish off, the churro cake was heavy, but very tasty. Highly recommend it. The service was also good. So overall I think I'll go back, but really hoping there's no critters this next time around.

Came in for dinner on a Sunday evening with the family (4 of us). We were able to get seated as soon as we walked in. The restaurant is very large so even if the parking lot is full, you can still get seated.

First, service was very slow to start. The waitress was a little frazzled and she had to input everything in a handheld device, which slowed her down. After she showed up the first time, things moved along fine

Dinner showed up shortly thereafter and we all were handed our dinners. No mistakes!

I had the carnitas chile Verde. The food was pretty decent. I wouldn't say it was over the top good, but I would say that it made a good showing. A little more heat (both stove and spice) would have gone a long way. Perhaps a smidge of salt too.

The kids devoured their kids tacos, so that's good.

My wife had the cream cheese chicken enchiladas and said that they were great. I didn't get to taste it so no comments.

Honestly, it was a decent entry into the Mexican cuisine. Not the best I've had but certainly not the worst.
