Had to come here with all the great reviews. We went at dinner time and it was pretty busy, but the wait wasn’t long since we made reservations. Our waitress Season was amazing from start to end. Definitely one of the best waitresses I’ve had a very long time.
We ordered catfish, Shrimp and grits, sweet potatoes, greens, cornbread, and mac & cheese. We loved pretty much everything except the shrimp and grits. The only thing that was good was a sauce. Overall, my favorite item was definitely the greens. They were so good that I ordered some to go! Oh, and I also ordered the frozen strawberry lemon drop that was delicious.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Food service and atmosphere was great. Frozen strawberry lemon drop too good. Appetizers egg rolls were so delicious. I had fish and grits, chicken and waffles the best. We all enjoyed our meal.

My honey and I visited Kitchen & Cocktails after traveling from Houston to Dallas for the Whiskey Fest. We had an 8 PM reservation and arrived 10 minutes early, but they seated us right away. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with classic R&B and hit songs playing in the background.

Our waitress, Celine, was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She patiently answered all our questions and even recommended dishes based on our preferences. The food was absolutely delicious.

Now, I wouldn’t not recommend Celine—because she’ll have you ordering dessert even when you’re stuffed! We caved under the pressure and took dessert to go, enjoying every bite back at our hotel.

A 10/10 rating wouldn’t be enough—I highly recommend this spot!

Adrian was a phenomenal server made sure our food got out very fast because we had to let him know that we were in a bit of a rush he took care of us! Great Employee! Very efficient and friendly. We had a few tables, and everyone seemed to be enjoying his vibe. He also was very knowledgeable of the menu.

The food was literally so good. I’m not a big fan of cinnamon and I had tried the cinnamon waffles. Perfect amount of cinnamon very fluffy very fresh. We also got the southern fried chicken with it. Chicken was bomb. Took it home because I will be eating it later.

Do not overlook the mac & cheese and go ahead and order it because it is such good mac & cheese great flavoring every bite is just great.

Fried pickles and fries were perfect little addition to our order would order the fried pickles again!

The deviled eggs with the shrimp was also really good. Love the shrimp well seasoned.

For everything we got price was perfect!! Definitely will be coming back, and hopefully Adrian is still Vibing here because we would love to have him as our server again!

I stopped by Kitchen + Kocktails around brunch time, and let me tell you—the vibe was on point! From the lively atmosphere to the great music, it was the perfect spot to enjoy a weekend brunch. The staff was super friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

For food, I ordered the lamb chops with breakfast potatoes and scrambled eggs. The flavors were definitely there, but the lamb chops were slightly undercooked for my preference. Nothing major, but just a heads-up if you like yours well-done.

Now let’s talk about the real star of the show—the drinks! I ordered two frozen peach D’USSÉ cocktails (yes, TWO), and let’s just say I left feeling AMAZING! The drinks were strong, smooth, and perfectly blended, giving that perfect balance of sweet and boozy.

Overall, this place is a solid brunch spot with a fun atmosphere, great drinks, and good food. If you’re looking for a lit brunch with good vibes and even better cocktails, I’d definitely recommend checking it out!

Great food with large portions, great live music and a really good vibe. The macaroni and cheese, collard greens and mashed potatoes. Taste homemade and delicious. The chicken was fried and flavorful. The gravy was delicious as well. The lemonades are very delicious especially the strawberry one. They make some of the drinks at tableside which is nice really good music. Highly recommended.

Our dinner at Kitchen & Kocktails was absolutely delicious. My jerk chicken and sweet potatoes was so delicious, I can’t wait to eat at this restaurant again. The ambience is top notch and the service is amazing. Our waitress NeNe was the best! Thank you for making this first trip to Dallas, the best part of our trip!

Kitchen and Kocktails blew me away! 🤩 This spot is a must-try for anyone craving delicious Southern comfort food. We started with the cotton cloud drink (so refreshing!), and the salmon bites were cooked to perfection. The traditional chicken and waffles were crispy and flavorful, and the Southern fried chicken was juicy and seasoned just right.
The sides were equally amazing - the mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the cornbread was moist and sweet. Everything tasted incredibly fresh! It's definitely a higher-priced restaurant, but the quality of the food and the amazing service make it worth every penny. Our server, Micah, was attentive and super helpful with the menu.
Visiting Dallas? Put Kitchen and Kocktails on your list of places to eat! You won't regret it.
