I ordered the gumbo and was prepared to season it myself, surprisingly it was heavily seasoned! There is no spice so you would need to add that but I was shocked at how good the gumbo was. Plenty of veggies and meat (chicken,shrimp,sausage) not slimy. I think they use celery instead of okra. 8/10 for me!

Normally I do not order the chicken or anything fried but decided to try something different other than the rice. Beyond disappointed. This chicken had little to no meat and it was fried too hard. Not sure if they cooked it prior then put it back in the grease to warm it up or if they just fry it like this as a regular way to cook it and this is how it comes out because of all the seasonings used but this is unacceptable. Never again.

I actually tried to place for the first time at a pool party, my friends had it catered.

I tasted the chicken and was like, “Okay, this is bomb - where’d yall get it?”.

After the pool party I immediately went and ordered my own 😆.

I ordered fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn nuggets, okra and a roll. Everything was SO good (except the mashed potatoes - they were a little bland).

This is not really a sit-down restaurant. It’s more so grab-n-go. I spent around $20-$30. I will definitely be back.

Best fried fish ever. It touts a Louisiana taste. I swear it lives up to that. Everything has the Louisiana spices. It makes me over eat. Their sides are huge and feeds at least three people. I’ve never had a bad experience with these people.

It’s always take out. There’s no room for a sit down meal. Orders have to be placed inside the restaurant if you’re not a delivery service. Delivery service increases the price threefold. It’s best to order at restaurant.

I wish I could place an order online or over the phone. Wait time for pickup is 15 to 20 minutes when placed at the restaurant. Delivery service people walk in and walk out. I envy that.

I normally go to the location off of midway which is by far the best one and everything is made to order there. Today I decided to order from here and I ordered the following 2 four piece, potato salad, And a large dirty rice
However, my chicken taste like it was cooked and used grease that’s been sitting for a while. The potato salad was dry and the dirty rice It was not cooked all the way

They're very rude. I ordered called because they charge me $29 for a combination of rice and fish and when I got my food everything wasn't there? I called them to tell them they hung up the phone. When I call back They told me to call the delivery company. i'm a sushi at a restaurant, Very rude Will not buy from them again..

Best friend chicken I have ever had. Got the 5pc special with 3 leg and 2 thigh pieces. Perfectly hot and crispy, the breading was not thick at all. It was so flavourful that I didn't even need any sides or sauce. Ate it so fast I forgot to take pics. Delicious!
