Lumen8 Rooftop Social is located at the shared rooftop for Element Hotel and Springhill Suites.

The space looks amazing at night and the views are just beautiful. The photos and videos don’t do justice. The ambiance is definitely right up my alley.

Walking in, the wait staff and servers were very friendly and welcoming. The cocktail bar was brightly lit and the dining space looked beautiful.

My friend and I decided to check this out on the last night we were in Colorado Springs. The kitchen was already closed but we were able to order some drinks, and stayed a little past closing time to capture photos of the rooftop space. I can only imagine how gorgeous the mountains looked during the day.

Overall, it’s a beautiful place to enjoy the crisp night air and beautiful ambiance, surrounded by tabletop fire pits, and great music, and strong drinks!

The area was gorgeous. It had nice seating up high on the roof top with amazing views of the mountain ⛰️. Yet the kitchen was at like half staff. They couldn't seem to figure out how to print their own menu. With the kitchen at half staff, the waiter read us a list of options that they could prepare. They never offered us a discount 😒 for the inconvenience of no menus. The server did come check on us from time time. The food was bland, not much seasoning crispy, thou.

I wanted to surprise my best friend for a fun and sweet Galentines day date, and the staff couldn’t have helped more to make it special. Sarai accommodated the table I requested and put my flowers and gift on the perfect table before we arrived. We had a broken heel and Max went out of his way to get us a sewing kit and safety pin. The food and experience was unreal. Thank you Sarai and Max for a lovely evening. Brings your dates here!!

We went to Lumen8 at noon on a Saturday for brunch. There were about 8 people there, so tons of open seating outside on the rooftop, and no one inside. The view and atmosphere of this restaurant is 10/10. I bet it's even better at night with their fire tables on. For not having very many people there, we thought the service was slow. The food came out fast but getting our order placed and trying to pay took a fortnight. The food was okay.

I got eggs Benedict. It desperately needed seasoning, or bare minimum salt, which I asked for but it never came. The eggs were perfectly poached though! They sat on top of toasted English muffins and had two very small ham circles, about the size of a pepperoni. It could have used more meat, but again the whole dish really just needed to be seasoned. It comes with a puck of potatoes that has peppers and onions in it, but it also had no seasoning. 4/10

My husband got the braised bison hash. The presentation was great. The meat was tender and flavorful, but they put it under a bed of solid potatoes that again had no seasoning on them. 6/10

Coffee was fine. Bitter but strong 6/10

I'd recommend checking them out purely off vibes, and the location. Maybe it was just an off kitchen day! We'd go back at night to check it out, for sure.

Lots of people warned us to not eat here... Only to get one drink and enjoy the sunset view from the rooftop, so that's exactly what we did.

Ordered a drink at the bar (prompt and good service) and then went out to the rooftop. The rooftop is lovely, but I wish they could do something about the industrial second rooftop that totally ruins the view. At least make it look pretty or something.

All the food we saw other people getting looked horrible.

The rooftop patio was really beautiful my friend and I dined here on Saturday. We got to see the sunset over the mountains. I had an expression martini and it was tasty.

Vibes check. View check. Brussel sprouts 100! Would recommend. As far as the other food… flavorless. I got a vegan option, sweet potato Shepard pie and the vegetables didn’t even taste how the natural vegetables taste, that bland. Also got the chicken sandwich, breading gave nothing but texture no taste. Where was the salt, pepper or anything?
