This place is a MUST go,,,, We had drinks, Mac and cheese which was creamy, very well seasoned and the place is diverse. Music for all ages. Took Mom out she was completely satisfied. The staff all work well together. The service was excellent and above all the atmosphere is not only inviting but doesn’t feel forced.

I love seafood boils and couldn't wait to give this restaurant a try. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted and sat at one of the tables. I was served by the manager Jay and Pelaiah, the bartender, and they were great. I started with the red sangria, which was good. I then had the appetizers of the kimchi vegetable dumplings chicken wings half and half with soy garlic and spicy soy garlic and the Parmesan Truffle fries. I really loved the dumplings the most! The wings and fries were also good. I lastly had the seafood boil that included the mussels, shrimp, and snow crabs and with the mixed sauce medium. It was delicious! I had a great experience all in all!

After work I stopped by The Prudential Center and finally tried Mad For Chicken! The BBQ chicken sandwich was delicious topped with cole slaw and sliced pickles, yummy!!!. It was right before an event at Prudential tonight, I arrived around 415pm so it was perfect timing. My bartender/server I think Alisha was very inviting and familiar with the menu! It was clean, big bar, lots of tvs . I had a corona... it's walking distance to or from NJ Penn. I ordered the soy garlic wings to go, They were still crispy once I got home. They also offer
an all you can eat seafood boil for $49.99 per person evenings and weekends. Go see for yourself!!

Pelaiah Was great me and my friends went there just strolling by after leaving a funeral. She made us feel great and gave us wonderful service. We really enjoyed our night. The food was great. The chicken taste delicious. It's some type of sauce that they use on the chicken, it is phenomenal. The chicken is also crispy. I had the tenders. My friends had a chicken sandwich and it was definitely superb. I can't wait to go back.

Since we were going to an event at Prudential Center and hubby had been dying to go here when he worked in Newark. We were able to walk over from our parking lot. Good thing because there was only street parking...

Should have checked the website. This was more bar than restaurant... We were seated on high chairs (I hate them because I'm short!). Then we had to give them a credit card to start a tab, wth I'm not in NYC!? Anyways, we were already seated, so I gave them my card. Besides, it was too late to find somewhere else to eat...

I tried to order their mocktails, but none of what I wanted was available... so I ended up with a Pina Colada. It was ok, a bit too sweet...

As i looked through the menu, I realized it was Korean style chicken. So I began to have hope. LOL

My order of Soy Garlic Wings was so good! So crispy outside but juicy inside. I did wish there was more Soy Garlic sauce on the wings. The naked wings were good on their own, but I really wanted the sauce 😀

Hubby got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. He wasn't looking for a sandwich. He wanted bone in chicken, but there were only wings that I had ordered already. But he did end up really enjoying the sandwich.

The young lady was nice but forgetful. Had to ask her multiple times for boxes and check. We were getting very close to the event time and wanted to get going...

Even though the chicken was delicious, I don't think we will ever go back...

Thank the lord! They finally fixed this place! The menu is still a little limited compared to the NY locations but I was dying to have a mad for chicken near me again. The food did not disappoint. Get the lemon pepper wings. I think they're new. You won't regret it. The vegetarian chicken bowl was actually really good too.

FINALLY! So glad management is doing something about this place.

I had an amazing experience at Mad for Chicken in Newark! The spicy soy wings were a flavor explosion, and the cozy ambiance made the dining experience even more enjoyable especially on a cold winter night. The friendly staff added a welcoming touch. Can't wait to go back for more delicious wings! Conveniently located next to prudential center.

the food here is so GOOD. but the service is TRASH. i’ve walked in here twice already and no one is here to take my order. the last girl (balled headed black woman, blonde hair) was extremely rude. we asked about the drinks and she said was “there’s a drink menu right there.” like she wouldn’t even tell us about the drinks. and there’s only 2 customers in here!
