Having visited Sael a couple of weeks ago it seemed a good idea to try Jason Atherton’s other west end restaurant tuck away just off Regents Street. It’s a small menu and I have to say a first for me was gravy poured over the Caesar salad! But it was all delicious. A good wine list by the glass and crispy fries.
Unusually the bar was quieter than the restaurant which is very noisy. No mention of specials although other tables were told. That’s both his restaurants that have done that.

We recently had lunch at Mary's and had an incredible lunch. The food was outstanding, and even though this is billed as a casual grill restaurant, they have incorporated fine dining elements into the menu. I can highly recommend Mary's. My favourites included the Duck croquettes in satay sauce, monkfish tempura, and the sirloin steak, which was perfectly cooked. Make sure you order the koffmann fries.

The food was fantastic. We shared the ceviche and the tempura monk fish, which were amazing. The steak was really well cooked, and dessert was yummy.

The wait team was all friendly. We just had to chase a few bits up, like drinks, the bill, etc.

Otherwise, I would highly recommend this place

Excellent first experience at Mary’s - delicious food at great value (given the quality of cooking). Menu is quite extensive so will take time to do justice - will be back! Decor is still very pollen street social which should be a familiar setting for a good evening

Visited for the Chef’s Table Experience for my birthday. I thought it was a solid and tasty menu but uninspiring, and the service lacked finesse.

The standout was their “Tea & Cake” . The flavours were rich and scrumptious, setting high expectations. Another interesting element was the Ajo Blanco (“white gazpacho”) ice cream in the crab dish. The quality of the locally sourced ingredients was excellent, but I hoped for more memorable dishes.

The service, although lovely, lacked the finesse expected at this price point. While the birthday card was a nice touch, adding a candle to one of the four desserts would have made it more special. Let's be honest, many restaurants at this calibre do this without requests. They gave us wrong cutlery for one of the courses. It was a bit embarrassing for them when we found the chocolate bonbons missing from a dessert box, and the staff had to quickly rectify it.

Flavours were mostly classics, didn't get any wow factors. At £190pp, it was rather underwhelming. Perhaps their new projects would bring more excitement and thrill.

Great food and amazing service, our waiter sadly we didn’t get his name was so welcoming and knowledgeable about wine, we had the bread + olives followed by the battered monkfish and ceviche for starters which was great followed by the tomahawk which was 10/10. The orange wine was very good too.

Over all great experience and highly recommended

Brought by mun here for lunch and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. We chose off the lunch menu (which I think is fantastic value for £58) and each of us has a different starter - they were all brilliant and showed the quality of the ingredients. The wine list is extensive but still has some good value options if you go digging a bit. Service was amazing - they really did a great job

writing my first review to share an unpleasant, underwhelming culinary experience that was EXTREMELY disappointing and practically ruined a nice evening. came to this newly opened restaurant with extremely high expectations based on excellent reviews but at first sight the interiors aren’t very cohesive( subjective). The food was actually decent with a nice presentation :)) service was extremely slow, and we were recommended and almost ‘ forced’ to order bread ON TOP of more bread provided as part of our dishes and ended up wasting a lot. portions are fair and the flavor combination was very nice. waitress did NOT put in orders for fries on the side of our steak dish and it was a horrendous culinary experience for the main steak dish despite us asking multiple times for the fries to come. bill took A LONG time to come too and when we fed back our experiences to staff, they seemed very very nonchalant and did NOT care at the slightest about their service or our experience . a huge disappointment overall.
