Everyone I’ve ever spoken to on the phone has always been helpful, polite and very caring. I’ve never had a bad moment on the phone with anyone, but it’s just so hard to reach someone. It takes a long time before I can get a hold of anyone especially when I really really need help. The DTA app needs to be updated as well. There’s not much you can do there. I can’t click and the see documents I’ve sent in and it doesn’t specify what document is incomplete or missing so I have to guess. I think with speaking on the phone maybe a chat box would be convenient for some people. All in all DTA will help it just takes a while.

I find it very disturbing that some of you are giving 5 ☆ reviews based on your experience because you had all your necessary documents beforehand and assume it's just as easy for everyone else. Get off your high-horse! What you're obviously failing to even consider is the fact that the DTA office, for the most part, deals with people who are, for whatever reason, UNABLE to do for themselves. It would be wonderful if everyone was capable of obtaining the required documents needed for their own case. You'd be surprised how the people who need help the most get treated the worst.

I love how all these people have nothing positive to say. Every single one of them trying to take advantage of the system. I have always had a great job and in the last year I have lost everything. I went to the DTA and I was given emergency snap benefits the very next day, and cash assistance in a little over a week. Inwas given a case worker who when I call with questions answers them immediately or calls me back in a timely fashion. I have no idea what these people are talking about. Instead of complaining and waiting for a hand out donwhats asked of you. You are asking for the states help, they are not asking for yours. So if they ask for proof of wages or rent or social security, etc. Than just give it to them. I brought everything with me and gave them everything I was missing the same day. My claim was approved as fast as possible and I'm grateful. So rather than complaining and making bad reviews try following the program. Its here to help us less fortunate.

My family of three recently fell on hard times. Two adults one infant. Insurance disability pays 400 a week. That pays our mortgage with 27 dollars left over afterwards. We were told we would only be provided $188 a month in SNAP to feed 3 people. While a single person receives 194 a month. I was told it was so low because we have income. They wanted proof of income, mortgage, taxes, and utilities. Don't they see that our income goes to pay for a place to live? Ridiculous.

There are some "REAL IDIOT'S" there, like the case worker who asks "you" to leave her office to go get "yourself" a pen to fill out or sign paperwork and she's tells you this while she holds a pen in her hands?! Does she realize that's her job or that I payed for that pen? She did! Lol.. "Supervisor!"....... If you don't go there for the "camaraderie", you should at least go there for the armed security officer "Coby the air drummer!" GL!

Dont call because you will likely be greeted meanly then told to call the hotline even if you were derected to them. Then you will sit on hold for an hour or so just to get dropped and do it all over. There getting there money's worth
