I honestly wish I could give a zero. The owner cuts corners, hires teenagers that are very unprofessional and clearly don’t know how to do their work. Owner told me I needed a new roof to get solar panels on my roof which was a lie, my roof was just patched up and in good shape but we trusted the professionals (silly us). She then tells us she can give us a privacy fence, new roof, attic insulation, and a tankless hot water heater all lumped in the loan with solar panels (palmetto hired her, and are trying to also avoid responsibility). The tankless hot water heater caught on fire and the owner Melissa Martin refused to have a professional electrician to come out and insert the new one and we tried telling her that the particular brand was not a good one and that we didn’t want it so we had to replace it out of our own pocket. After a year the fence she sold us started rotting, they used the wrong wood and wrong nails, we had to replace that from our own pocket. And 2-3 years later we found our chimney was leaking in the living room and the ceiling was leaking over my baby’s crib, and we thought hey that’s odd it’s a new roof. So my fiancé went to look at the attic to check around the chimney and found that our attic is covered in white and black mold (which then we realized why we were all getting so sick (especially my baby), then mold was starting to form in the basement. The people who did the roof used the wrong nails, nothing was up to code, didn’t put a flashing and didn’t hook the bathroom and kitchen vents back up. So I am still paying on this loan for 5 items and the only one I’m acting still using are the solar panels themself. We are now told our roof will not last this next winter so we have to get a brand new roof before this winter starts out of my own pocket while still paying on that loan for everything else. We also found out because she told us that she took materials from other jobs and projects- some she wasn’t even a part of. I can’t believe we trusted her and palmetto. My family will barely get a Christmas this year because we have had to cancel all our traditions, luckily we got them covered for gifts through a toy drive but no help for food or anything else we typically do. Please be aware about the company and person you are supporting.
