Awesome place! Very authentic, a lot of effort has been put to make it look the way it looked when it opened back in 1950s (?). Even the chairs seem to mimic the pattern back from those days.
Solid menu with lots of options. Our group enjoyed the goulash but all meals were very well made and everyone had a blast!
The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended, will be coming back whenever the opportunity arises.

I had high expectations for Neringa Restaurant in Vilnius, but my experience was nothing short of a disaster. Service was very rude, no explanation about the dishes. Maybe because they don’t speak English. But the worst part was the food, Kiev Kotlet was terrible, the side dishes as in the hospital, boiled peas and carrots. Fish plates were even worst. Overall, Neringa Restaurant was a complete waste of time and money. There are far better dining options in Vilnius

Went there today.
Waiter Aurimas scammed me. I know tips are not included and all I had to pay was 29.50. In the moment of paying, he quickly moved the card machine away and added a tip of 3 euro. I saw it clearly but didn't want to argue for 3 euro so I let it pass. However, this destroyed the entire experience and it's sad that, in a place like this, tourists are being robbed by the waiters

"Neringa Restaurant is very nostalgic from back in the 90s and so good that it is still around, the restaurant exudes a cozy and welcoming ambiance that immediately puts you at ease. The menu is a delightful fusion of traditional and modern Lithuanian cuisine, offering a tantalizing array of flavors and textures. Each dish is expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients, resulting in a culinary experience that is both comforting and exciting. The chicken Caesar and chicken Kievs are very good. The herring salad is a must to try.The staff at Neringa are incredibly warm and attentive, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. From the moment you step through the door, you are treated like a cherished guest. Neringa Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable dining experience

Really beautiful interior. Restaurant with a long history, trying to keep the Ambiente from Soviet times. But that is the only thing which was good in that restaurant. The service was rude, ignored us completely and brought us the wrong dishes. To complain was difficult, because as mentioned, the Service was ignoring our presence. The vegetarian food which we did not order was tasteless. Still had a good evening because of my co-guests, but definitly not because we enjoyed the restaurant. I highly recommand to not visit this place. If you want to visit, just order a coffee and take in the beautiful interior.

A legendary and iconic place in Vilnius, where the spirit of freethinking reigned, where anti-Soviet bohemians and dissidents gathered during the Soviet period.

The restaurant first opened doors in 1959 and attracted attention with its Art Nouveau interior and, of course, jazz was played there in the evenings. Famous poets Yevtushenko, Voznesensky, Akhmadulina, Brodsky, as well as Vysotsky and Sakharov visited this place.

Last time I was in Vilnius in late autumn in 2019 and noticed on Gediminas Avenue that the Neringa hotel and restaurant were under total restoration. How I longed to get back to this place and see the work of designers, how they revealed this place and gave it a new life. And I want to say a big thanks to those who recreated this iconic place and preserved the history in the form of Art Nouveau drawings on the walls in the main restaurant and natural wool panels in the hotel bar.

The restaurant represents Eastern European cuisine, I really like the wide selection of wines, but the hallmark here is the famous “Neringa Chicken Kyiv” (Kyiv cutlet), it is very delicious and worthy performance of the chef. The waiters are very gallant, the service is on high level, the prices are average, considering that this is the heart of Vilnius. I recommend to visit this place, especially the older generation, but it will be interesting for young people to visit this place also. Very suitable for meeting friends, family lunch or dinner. In the evening, the pianist plays pleasant music on the piano, it brings great pleasure.

First time eating at this iconic restaurant in Vilnius. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant a lot. The restaurant is located in a historic landmark on Gediminas Avenue. It’s known for its design and social history.

The food was good too. I enjoyed my Chicken Kyiv a lot! The Napoleon cake was ok - nice presentation but the taste was average.

It’s an odd place, seems to been carrying through ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s, with its decor, fresco on the wall, and partly the menu. Saying that, everything is clean and well maintained, definitely nicely renovated. The food, too, was nice and well presented, just not my taste. And it seems to be the place where locals love to celebrate with their friends and families - it was full of locals with flowers and families wit all ages. It’s an experience, not a bad one.
