I recently visited Olea Social, and it was such a gem of a spot! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a cozy evening out. Their Mediterranean-inspired menu was full of fresh, flavorful dishes, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home while indulging in amazing food!

Absolutely superb experience. We loved everything we had and drinks were amazing. Our favorites were the pasta with crab and octopus and the spinach, feta, and chili flat bread. The smoked salmon was also delicious. The cheese plate had a variety of cheeses to include blue cheese and parm with an apricot chutney. I didn’t personally love the pita on the cheese plate as they were licorice flavored, but the people I dined with loved them! The drinks were awesome. I loved the ginger sour. This restaurant has happy hour from 3-8pm daily that is buy one get one. Starters are reasonably priced 5-12 pounds. Drinks were around 14 pounds. Meals ranged from 15-30 pounds. Overall, great experience, great atmosphere, and fabulous service. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Pros: The atmosphere was great. Love the decor of the place. The menu sounds delicious.

Cons: We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation. Had to ask for menus, ask for cutlery. About thirty minutes after our starter, two different servers came over to ask if we wanted anything else, we had to tell both that we were still waiting for our mains. The mains came, the gnocchi was swimming in a bowl of oil.

It felt like the staff didn’t know what to do. As though there was little to no communication between them, so each person doesn’t know what the rest of the team have already done. One waiter kept standing near our table, leering and staring at us until we looked up to ask if he was okay and he asked if we wanted the bill, which is when we had to tell him that no, we hadn’t even had our mains yet.

Two of the toilets in the ladies were out of order, one had the door off of the hinges laying in the stall. There was dropped food up and down the stairs to the toilets.

I think it has lovely decor and the menu sounds great, but the execution is just not there from the kitchen or the staff.

It was a good choice for a Sunday dinner. Prices are pretty high, but the atmosphere was great. The octopus and lamb chops were well-prepared, and the waiters were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

We had a wonderful dinner with another couple at Olea Social. It's a Mediterranean restaurant, with a ton of flavor with their dishes. We started off with Hummus and the Prawns and Mushrooms appetizers and didn't have anything left! For dinner, I had the Mushroom Gnocchi, which was absolutely delicious. You could tell the sauce was house made and fresh! Other dishes included the Lamb and Chicken Shish and a flatbread, which everyone loved! The dessert and cocktail menus both looked amazing and we'll try both next time!!
