Greedy company. You make plenty off of paper sales, and advertising more then pays for the content on your website. The job of the media is to inform the public; hold the government accountable; report political, social, economic decisions; and disseminate facts to the public so we can be informed. I'm glad there are plenty of reputable free news outlets that are not greedy like the Omaha world herald.

Solved... Thanks...

I paid for the paper to get delivered for my grandpa. It’s been weeks and he has yet to receive a copy. Everytime I email or call the help line I get no where. At this point I’m looking to get a refund and cancel since he has yet to receive a single copy.

Crummy. Bad service. Bad journalism. Bad company. Most of the paper is a patchwork of other papers. Biased paper. The people who are actually employed to write for the paper write like junior high school students. I think they are required to write in elementary English so the people who do still read the paper don’t get confused by big words. They have the audacity to try to limit the stories one has access too online. Hilarious given that they can’t give away this rag let alone profit from it. Can’t see it lasting another decade.

ETA. You can’t give the paper away so how on earth do you expect people to digitally subscribe? As for the “award winning” journalism, spare me. Rainbow Rowell’s novels don’t mean the crummy paper she used to write for is award winning. The World Herald is a pathetic racist rag that is poorly run and will close because it provides absolutely nothing of value to the city or the industry.

ETA. This paper and the Omaha news media as a whole tries to continue cultural and class divisions to keep bigotry alive in this city and degrade the people of this city. It’s mind boggling that a city that claims to want to grow continues to allow this thoroughly sub par paper to debase this city and it’s residents.

Great company! I love getting the newspaper every morning and reading through and then being able to check the web and app throughout the day for updates. Incredible news source for Nebraska- not a luxury many states have!

I am not happy with the OWH because I call now and I can’t seem to get anyone locally to speak with from customer service. Why are you putting our customer service in other states when this is a local paper. I am tired of having to call to have my food express or my Sunday paper delivered. I am ready to cancel my subscription all together. You have really gone down hill with the delivery of the paper to your local customers. I know this because I delivered for you for 6 years and when a complaint came in we were notified right away and if we did not fix the problem we were not able to deliver. I don’t feel you deserve the one star I had to give to write this.

I now understand being on this side how frustrating it is to try to get my Wednesday Savor ads. Been getting them for the last yr. A month ago it just stopped So I make a call to see why? or better yet just get it started again. Lady on the phone goes in & tells me they have no record of my ever getting it, really? Then she tells me to call back tomorrow which is Wednesday if I don’t get it to call back & file a “formal” complaint. So today BIG SUPRISE we don’t receive it, so I call to be transferred to another lady to be told I need to call back on Thursday or Friday because those are the only days they “deal” with formal complaints! OMG
I asked if I can talk to a supervisor or manager for her to tell me well they’re gonna tell you the same thing I’m telling you there’s nothing we can do today.
Thought came to me that they are receiving so many complaints that they save them for the end of the wk & only have there very best people handling these calls right The paper is dying because of calls like this! Keep your Savor & the paper subscription.
