I attended P.S.244 in the 70's I had an enriched school experience It is truly a great school and puts their students first. My first son was a graduate of the class of 2010. He had a great experience as well. He didn't want to leave, he missed all of his teachers. I look forward to sending my three year old to P.S.244 for the 2016-2017 school year. I am optimistic that he will have the same enriched learning experience as his brother and I did. I miss Mrs. Alcia she was a caring and nurturing principal. She always listened and addressed your concerns.I look forward to meeting the new principal, to establish a partnership to make my son's education a fun and enriching one. I love that the school has gone vegetarian!

I went here for elementary school. I graduated with honors and went on to Lenox Academy and Medgar Evers High School. In both schools I took advance classes which put me ahead when graduating.
