An amazing museum. I’m happy I stopped by and experienced it. The folks who run the museum do a great job of walking you through the history and giving you a mini tour. They answer any and all questions you have. I had some very enlightening and also just heartbreaking conversations with them. The gift shop is wonderful and has beautiful jewelry and more that supports local artists. Absolutely recommend stopping here even if just for a little bit to support them and learn about the true history of the Apache tribe.

A wonderful tribute to a proud culture that is still going strong by hanging on to their traditions. I just am ashamed of the greed and the meanness of the European culture that forced them into reservations.

The hours are really hit and miss, mostly when he feels like being open. Frankly it's less a culture center and more of a "Hey tourist bring your money and buy some stuff" place. Small entry fee. There's really nothing else to do so stop by and support the local economy!

The San Carlos Apache Cultural Center and museum, is wonderful place to visit. The museum has a small In the gift shop, which sells all type of works by local artists including jewelry, pottery and textiles, as well as book about Apache history. They also have a great exhibit on Apache Culture and history. It’s there that learn a little more about Geronimo. Who was a leader and a medicine. He is famous for resisting anyone Mexican/ Americans who wanted to remove his people from their tribal lands. If you find yourself in the area stop in to get a little information from the tribe’s point of view. Buy anything to support the local Apache artisans.

Amazing place, amazing people! The museum is filled with authentic artifacts and true history. The gentleman who runs the museum is full of facts and history so if you ask questions you will get true answers. There is clothing and jewelry for sale also. I could not help but to be horribly saddened as I read and looked at a beautiful culture that we tried to exterminate.

THE DIRECTOR, TERRILL G. WAS EXTREMELY GRACIOUS, GUIDED US THRU THE MUSEUM AND GAVE US A WONDERFUL ACCOUNT OF PIECES IN THE MUSEUM AND THE AMAZING JOURNEY BOTH THEY AND THE APACHE HAVE WALKED.
AMAZING ART AND CRAFTS STORE ALSO.
