Incredibly pretty spacious venue. Worked perfectly for a double birthday party. Well lit, nice amenities. Two bathrooms is very nice.

Place was awesome and clean looking. Service was awesome and got back to me pretty quick especially when requesting an extra hour. Luckily I went on a day that doesn't get as busy so just keep in mind to book in for more hrs beforehand.Defintely plan to go again.
-SN: There was no chalk for the dart board so we had to improvise a bit and some of the colors for the darts came off and/or seemed broken but still managed lol...
The connect four game was missing like two pieces (Red colored) and for the tic tac toe one of the "X" seemed to be a bit broken but shouldn't matter much.

Social Cues Surreal is an awesome space to rent in the Clinton Hill of Brooklyn for all private events. I was fortunate to be hired and introduced to this wonderful space to add a little of my own magic to an already very cool and unique setting. I highly recommend this space to utilize for anyone looking for an alternative environment to have everlasting memories of their event with their loved ones.

Social cues surreal was the perfect location for my husband’s surprise birthday party. The spot had everything you would need to host the perfect party. With that being said, there are a few cons that prevent me from giving a perfect 5 star rating:

1. Customer service phone number should be displayed at the venue. When I needed help I had to search through my emails to find the number

2. The AC was not working evenly throughout the venue

3. There are two different speakers in each room, which I guess is ok but I would have liked the option to be able to stream the same music in both rooms.

4. Since people will most likely use the venue for parties, they should offer the option for people to rent tables from them. It was a bit of an inconvenience having to bring my own foldable table for food.

5. Obvious wear and tear of the furniture in the front room. The carpet where the pool table is was filthy, doesn’t look like it was cleaned for some time.

I would still use social cues again for future parties as it was very affordable prices for such a beautiful venue.

This space was beautifully decorated and very spacious! Surreal easily accommodated all my guests and their needs. Some of my guests were playing games, others were singing karaoke, while another group was in the front room using the photo booth. We all had a wonderful time and I absolutely would have another event there!

Rented Social Cues Surreal to celebrate moms 50th and it was a hit. The decor, amenities and space was perfect for our event. Only thing I would suggest is if you are bringing drinks you will need a cooler as there is only a mini fridge (which is noted when booking). I would recommend this place to everyone and I look forward to renting one of the other locations later this year for another event.

I celebrated this past Saturday for my husband at the surreal venue my guest loved the decor the place was clean the sound system was loud enough to hear in both rooms. They supplied us with paper towels,toilet tissue for the restrooms. The fridge was just the right size. Overall I would recommend using social cues for your next event. Thank you for the experience and helping me put the biggest smile on my husband's face.

My friend recommended surreal to host my anniversary party, and it did not disappoint. They have pool table, they had karaoke 🎤. We brought our own food and drinks. Everyone is still talking about how much they had at my party. Will definitely be coming back soon.
