I got the banana brûlée latte and it was amazing!! The latte had that deep flavor of burnt sugar without being bitter. The extra bruleed banana slices on the side were a delightful treat. Not sure if i came at an unusual time but the cafe was also pretty empty which made it a great spot to sit down and read.

Been here many times since it opened. The doughnuts are top tier in Seattle. The latte is average at best, sometimes tasted very weak and watery. The cardamom rose americano is creative and generally good.

One thing to note: during recent visit, they didn’t fill the to-go cup fully for our iced lattes, leaving a noticeable gap on top. Upon asking, they said it’s 16oz, but the presentation felt a bit weird.

This is a great little cafe. The iced americano was pretty tasty, and their coffee at a baseline is good. the shot of espresso was flavorful. A little acidic but not too bitter. Better than I expected! The Focaccia is also fantastic, and they just have a bit of everything. Gelato, pastries, coffee, a little convenience self-checkout, etc. just a really nice addition to the neighborhood.

Service was great, and things seem to be running smoothly on opening day! There was a steady stream of customers, but it wasn’t packed.

I took off one star because I just can’t get used to paying $5 (post-tax, pre-tip) for a shot of espresso, even in SLU. I’m just can’t forget the delicious €1 espresso you can get in Rome. Seattle is high cost of living, but 5x Rome? Idk.

Have been looking forward to this opening. Stopped by early and was the only person in the cafe. Looks like there is a lot going on, between fresh pastries, gelato, coffee, and a refrigerated section. I ordered the iced cardamom rose latte to go and it was a little disappointing.

Update: Came back another day for a passion fruit donut, it was okay. Service was bad. Chalking it up to having just opened… maybe wait a few months before stopping by

This cafe has a bit to work on after opening. Starting positive, the atmosphere was friendly, the cafe was clean with lots of pretty seating, perfect for catching up with a friend. The menu also contains some interesting items, and I liked the inclusion of a coffee and mini donut combo (which is what I ordered, called the “Sofa Mocha” combo on the menu for $7.50.) The donut was also not bad. On the other hand, my mocha was sickeningly sweet and almost sticky in texture - I didn’t want to finish my drink because of the flavor. I couldn’t taste any espresso under the ‘chocolate’ flavor - I understand that sweeter drinks make it hard for the espresso to shine but this was quite excessive.

I also checked out the grab-n-go area, which had a fair selection of sandwiches and other goodies, but for a couple more bucks than you’d anticipate.

As of now, I’d go back for a donut if a friend invited me but I’d bring my own drink. I hope this cafe has great luck in improving the coffee experience going forward - the competition in Seattle is tough.

I tried the grape and pine nut focaccia, and the roasted red pepper and gruyere sandwich. Both items used quality ingredients and were delicious. My only concern was that these weren't freshly prepared table service items, so the prices could be lowered. Additionally, the 'coconut coconuts' espresso was great. I would suggest offering coconut sugar as a sweetener, as the syrups they offer counter the mild taste of coconut. The pistachio ice cream definitely reminded me of the ones I'd had in Italy, albeit a little sweeter. The market was small, but had a good collection of meals from Tutta Bella, amongst others.

I wasn’t sure if I’d like their coffee in the beginning, but I loved it! Ordered hot latte with regular milk, the smaller size (there are two sizes available). Also ordered a Tiramisu Bomboloni. I like desserts but I’m not a fan of a very sweet taste. These Italian pastry was just right. It was not too sweet, the Tiramisu flavor was taking over the donut dough flavor. Loved it!

They had wifi and a bunch of tall chairs to work on your laptop. It wasn’t too cozy for me because it felt more like a grab-n-go atmosphere. But I might try working from there.

They have many food, pastry, and drink options. If you want to buy proper packaged lunch or a soda, they have it.

The baristas were super nice and helpful.

I like it!

I really enjoyed this cafe! Friendly staff, beautiful space for dining in. The drink I got was very refreshing, loved sipping on it. The donut was great, not too sugary and lots of yummy filling. I would come back!
