First time coming to this place and it didn’t disappoint! Very clean restaurant, good vibes and very friendly staffs. Menu is simple and colorful. Now the food that we’ve ordered was super delicious and served with all kinds of cute little side dish that you can request for more. If you like Kim chee, then you’ll love this place. One dish is enough to serve 3 or 4 people but we went ahead and ordered a feasts. The photo and video will give you an idea that my eyes and stomach was like being in Disneyland!

Today, I was really craving Korean food and planned to go to Young’s Kitchen, my usual spot. Unfortunately, they were closed, so I decided to head over to Sool instead. Turned out to be a pretty good choice for lunch with my son.

We got the spicy pork stir fry, and it was awesome. It had a solid kick, just the right amount of heat, and the flavor was spot on. The portion was generous too, which was a nice bonus.

The restaurant has a nice vibe with simple but stylish decor. I ordered hot tea, but it came in a plastic cup, which was kind of disappointing. We also tried the fried spring rolls. They were just okay. Nothing wrong with them, but I probably won’t order those again.

Service was good, no complaints there. This was my second time at Sool, and while it’s not my go to spot, I’ll definitely come back when I’m in the Hazel Dell area. That spicy pork stir fry alone is worth the trip!

Normally I do not write reviews, however I absolutely have to for this place.

We took my wife here for her birthday, and we ordered a couple different dishes. From the start the service was great, friendly, and the place was very clean. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive the entire time.

I have spent time in Korea (in the owners home town it turns out) and this food here is very traditional and extremely tasty. I ordered my favorite dish from my time there, stir fried squid and vegetables, and out of everywhere I have eaten it in America. this time it was by far the best.

The banchan were all very fresh and delicious. So much so that I decided I had to buy some of their made in house kimchi, and my wife wanted some of the yellow pickled radishes which are her favorite.

As I was purchasing the side dishes after eating, I ended up meeting one of the wonderful people who is a chef here, and she graciously gave me not one but TWO whole extra containers of banchan.

Overall my experience here was about as perfect as one could hope for, and I will absolutely be returning with my family and friends.

I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Fun discovery of Korean restaurant in strip mall in Vancouver Washington. Staff was welcoming and invited us to pick a table. They have some booths and tables in center. Plenty of seating and was able to sit right away. Extensive menu from hot pots, soups and noodles, lots of appetizers and traditional Korean dishes. We ordered galbi, beef bulgogi, potstickers, cheese corn, tempura shrimp and shared our food family style. Meal comes with side dishes as well. We had plenty of food for 3 people. Meal was about $80 and felt reasonable. Favorites were Beef Galbi and cheese corn. Galbi was tender and had incredible sweet flavor. The bulgogi was less tender, good flavor but not as good as galbi and enjoyed the veggies it came with. Food came out quickly and I look forward to coming again.

Best Korean food place in Vancouver!!!!! Justin is the owner who I have met and I just want to say he's the best!!! I'm still reeling from the incredible meal I had at Sool last night! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure our glasses were always full.

The food was truly exceptional. We started with the kimchi pancake, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. For entrees, I had the Bulgogi and Soon Seafood Tofu Soup. The dishes were bursting with flavor and the portions were generous.

But the real standout was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a cozy, authentic vibe like you are actually in Korea. The decor is modern and sleek, with plenty of natural light pouring in through the windows.

Overall, I would highly recommend Sool to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. We can't wait to come back!"

Sool is a fantastic Korean restaurant that serves hearty food that's very flavorful. I had Jeyugbokk Eum Spicy pork. My daughter ordered the kimchi Jjigae stew. We were both delighted with our choices. I've added this to Best Korean in VanPort list. I look forward to returning. Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars.✌🏼

I went to Sool and told them a price and I want something chicken and not spicy. I believe it was Dak Bulgogi. It was a good amount of food, and it was tasty. I will go again. I don’t normally write reviews.

I went to Sool Korean Kitchen again tonight and I gave them some money, and this is what I got. It was excellent, I am I will save the picture to get it again. I also like the yellow and green things but not a fan of the red things to spicy for me. I will be back.

First, let's talk about the food. Delicious. Absolutely delicious. If the review was only about the food, this would be a five star review without a doubt. With that said... The server was a young lady who obviously had no experience waiting tables. To be fair to her, she had 10 tables to attend to, which would be challenging for someone who has waited tables for a decade. However, it took almost 20 minutes for her to bring water, she forgot that we ordered sodas, she brought two sets of dining ware when there were three people, and she never once checked on us after we got our food. The food took almost 30 minutes to fully arrive, and what I mean by that is, one dish arrived within 15 minutes, the appetizer five minutes after that, the second dish another five minutes and the final dish arriving over 30 minutes after our order was taken.

The owner needs to realize that the first few weeks after opening a restaurant is crucial for customer first impressions. Management should be staffing at 150% of expected traffic. Typically you would assign between 4-6 table tops to a server depending on experience. They have 10 or 11 tables depending on party size, so at a minimum management should have staffed 3-4 servers, with adequate kitchen staff to handle the dinner rush. The kitchen was obviously understaffed. All food for a table should come out at the same time.

This is a new restaurant to the area, and I will be back, but unless the train the server(s) properly, I will probably order takeout.
