SpyFu is one of the top tool in my toolbelt. When it comes to competitor research for digital marketing, this tool really does the job well. You can see what keywords your top competitors are ranking for organically and if they're running any Google Ads, you can see they keywords they bidding for and you can also see their top performing ads as well. SpyFu has been on my radar for many years. I don't know why I waited so long to actually subscribe to it. Now I'm so glad I did so! First off, the amount of competitor survey information they provide is thorough. I'm constantly amazed at what I find, not only about my competition. I also find out how my own sites are doing in comparison! Way cool! Besides that, two things stand out about SpyFu. The most important one is the quick response from tech support. My questions always get answers super fast. And I've even had Zoom chats with folks there. They obviously want me to succeed! The second outstanding aspect of SpyFu is their blog posts, especially those with videos. They are very informative and helpful. And the videos are pretty entertaining. The company clearly has fun doing what they do, and it shows in how they interact with me.

I highly recommend SpyFu for SEO ranking and competitor analysis. There are many ways you can incorporate SpyFu into your content marketing strategy and many ways to build out quality keywords you want to rank for. I also like how SpyFu lets you use a scaled down version of the software for free before purchasing, and they are generous with the amount of searches and the level of searching you can conduct under the free model.

SpyFu is a robust tool available for a very fair price. Though it is designed (as the name suggests) to gain insights from examining competitors, I use it mostly for keyword research and tracking performance for several of my projects. Great tool!

I’ve been using Spyfu for years, and by and far it’s one of the most affordable SEO/Keyword research and competition research tools available. It provides just as much insight and intel as other competitor tools like SEMRush and ahrefs, for probably less than half the price overall. It’s really a great tool! Super easy to use and yet in depth enough to perform incredibly strategic research and planning for the success of your project! I love Spyfu and use it every day!

SpyFu offers a nifty addition to Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner for competitor research. It is a more cost-effective version to Similarweb. On a positive side, it keeps adding new markets. On the negative side, just like with any other analytics tool - the trust worthiness of the data is at a level that you more or less get general trends. Which is good enough for content marketers and so worth. If they can improve their data quality, which I know is difficult - as almost all of these types of providers get it from the same resource - then I would rate it five stars. But for now, it is a solid four stars - like a Hilton business hotel. Nothing wrong with it.
