Scam artists. They do nothing but triple the price of events that are already established, and in turn, decimate crowds; it's by design. If the prices are lower as they used to be, the crowds were very diverse, now it's just a bunch of rich white people. This is not a community or family event. It's a vastly discriminatory event run by vile racists.

Ostrich Fest 2024 - $35 per adult, $45 w/parking ($15 per adult w/ $5 parking before SLE got their racist hands on it). This event used to pull 250k+ and it was even better than the fair imo, then they hired SLE, now they can't even fill one parking lot; the event is barren. 2023 had the lowest attendance numbers in over 2 decades for no other reason than SLE's intentional discriminatory actions.

Taco Fest - $25 to walk in the gate and do what? Buy tacos at double to triple the price as right outside the gate. Basically, it's $32 for 1 taco. Walk down the street from the event and you can get 6-7 tacos + side dishes for the same price, and from some of the same vendors.

Ostrich Fest organizers should be ashamed for turning their backs on the people who made this event what it is; community members and their families. Now it's solely and event for rich white people. Who else can afford spending over $120 in tickets and parking for a family of 4, just for the opportunity to walk in the gate and buy .79c Fry's donuts for $15, or $10 cups of Pepsi, $25 Margarita's, $20 hot dogs, etc...
