I rarely ever post any reviews, but I had to make an exception to that. For I received nothing but the best experience ever at any DMV I have gone to. I lost my physical license, and was wanting to obtain a new DL. The system was giving NICOLE MASSEY multiple issues in finding my driving record in the database. She would not give up on finding a solution. I’m truly grateful for all of her perseverance and devotion to going through all channels to ensure that I was able to get a license while being the only representative in the building. She had 3 other appointments there waiting, and still maintained a positive and upbeat attitude. Even with it being the day before THANKSGIVING. She deserves a medal in my eyes for her determination and hard work.

Horrible office and incredibly rude lady working. No compassion, doesn't care, and lazy. Drove 3 hours because I needed an appointment before going out of town, arrive, and find the door locked. Others were waiting too, and no one gave any indication the door had been unlocked.

Better have EVERYTHING perfect, and read between the lines of the requirements. (Do you have "A" vehicle which needs to be registered in Texas. Yes. Asked about my daughters car which was on my insurance. Since I didn't have the registration for that one, am told to reschedule. How's December 1st sound. It's currently September and I had to drive 200 miles just to get this appointment in the middle of nowhere)

Just so rude and condescending. Avoid like the plague.

we drove an hour out to be there and when i started my test everything was fine but i was on a residential street not too far to the left because of cars parked and the lady said i was completely on the wrong side and told me “she wasn’t trying to die” in the middle of the test and kept saying “turn right turn right” when the turn was way ahead of me. said i didn’t use my turn signal when that is a big part of the test so of course i used it every time. she was very knit picky and not patient and rude.

She has always been more than nice whenever we go in to do business. People complaining about having to come in after 1 pm. should realize she's a one woman office and conducts out of the office driving tests in the morning. She has always been nice.

I honestly had the best experience with any DPS in the area or DMV in another state at this location today! I had come down a long distance for a scheduled driver's test with my whole family. Two year old twins, a five year old and Husband...sort of a handful. The DPS employee made things very streamlined and stress free to my surprise. I was expecting a rough time and a lot of headaches because bringing the kids and these visits aren't normally something to look forward to at any DPS but the employee was very polite, professional and kind. My wait time and road test was completed in a timely manner. She was able to take me in early so that was more than reasonable on wait time for my expectation. Yes, my family had to wait outside the office during her absence from the office on my drive test because she is the only employee at this location. But what can you expect for a small town in Texas? Very common in small towns so plan accordingly. Though I live further away and have a location close to home, I will continue to use the Sweetwater location based on my experience today and the pleasant, professional demeanor of this employee. Maybe next time I'll have a bit longer wait because it will be for something other then a drive test but I would feel it's worth the wait for good customer service. The pervious location I used I had sort of felt rushed and left feeling like all my questions hadn't been answered but here in Sweetwater I felt the process was very well explained, that my exam expectations were well explained and later my test score. I had seen the pervious bad reviews but I have a very hard time believing they are speaking of the same employee because she was nothing but kind and professional since I walked through the door. I think maybe the people saying these things aren't used to a small town DPS and how they have to operate or maybe they already had a bad day before walking in the door? No issues here but I did highly value her customer service so I wanted to go out of my way to post my experience.

The lady working here was so nice and calming. It was my daughter's driving test and she was nervous but the lady was very helpful and comforting. My daughter failed the parallel parking but 5 star service. Thank you.
