This was my first time visiting and my mom’s second visit. I’ve been wanting to come for a while since moving back after hearing about the good food! They have a decent size parking lot that’s enclosed which I like. I’m not sure if there’s additional parking in the back which I hope. The place is spacious on the inside so you have plenty of room to feel comfortable. You’re greeted the moment you walk in. We went during lunch so it wasn’t crowded. Our server was great (hate I don’t remember her name!)..I think it was Gina.
She was attentive without hovering. I had the shrimp plate with seasoned fries and a side of grits. Mom had the pasta. Everything was good! After dinner our server suggested we visit the museum upstairs that featured a few blues and rock legends. I never heard they had a museum and we were pleasantly surprised! The artist that designed all the figures did an excellent job!! The museum is located on the second floor which is another spacious area for dining, especially for private parties. Looking forward to visiting again!

I want to give Ms. Latasha the catering manager 100 stars. She made my
Celebration Dinner a success. She was so easy to work with and provided first class customer service. Compliments to the chef because all of our food was piping hot, steamy and tasty. I’m so glad I had my dinner at Iron Horse Grill. All of the staff and bartender who worked my event were extremely friendly warm and provided excellent service. Thank you to Ms. Latasha and the entire staff, they made my dinner a success.

Such a unique atmosphere and menu for Jackson, MS

A historic building in a unique downtown location, like the Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 rising from the ashes Ironhorse has risen from the ashes multiple times.

A spacious comfortable restaurant, Tex mex flare and decor and excellent service.

Famous for their seasoned chips and salsa, and queso options

They have a daily lunch special.
Known for their Tex-mex dishes, the stars are those menu items.

Excellent chimichangas, always seasoned-well components.

That Ribs are smokey and lightly sauced.

The sides are seasoned and plentiful. The Mexican street corn is a must try! Sweet corn kernels, cheese, Tex mex spices and made with love!

Crispy, salty fries. Full bar with great drinks and a very friendly staff and good service.

The atmosphere was great due to the decor and the crowd , the service was good . The food is mediocre and you should only purchase appetizers (the Fried Broccoli is good) , the drinks were watered down and def don’t match the description on the drink menu . Save your money because the overall besides the fried broccoli the food isn’t good here. The crab on top of the steak is pitiful lol

This is a very unique restaurant with a unique menu. It’s in a very old building in downtown Jackson Mississippi. The food is delicious and the service is great. I ordered the fried catfish, cheese grits and fried okra. Really cool atmosphere with live music at night. I would highly recommend a visit.

December 2023-Had a birthday dinner for my daughter's 21st birthday. Nice atmosphere & drinks! There was a blues guitar player on stage, and the service was great. Food was delicious and great portions. Shout out to our server Delawrence, he made sure the birthday girl was taken care of, they came out with dessert complete with a sparkler on top! Will visit again for brunch with friends or date night with husband. Bar area looks promising for those that like a bar seat.

Over all great experience except our crab cakes were as pictured but overly salty Montie the store manager took care of it immediately so for that we will be coming bk. Thanks for the great service on a Saturday night right before closing. You couldn't tell they were about to close the service was top tier
