The food here is as good as it's size. For the amount you pay, you get a lot of food. Personally I've never even heard of a 16" sub until I came here. But they have them. The person you order from in the window has been friendly every time I've gone and the atmosphere is..well ..it's outside so I guess it depends on the weather haha. Don't even get me started on their homemade lemonade, that stuff is liquid gold. I intend to come back whenever I'm in the area. All in all, this is a great hole in the wall type place to take your family and friends. Easily one of the jewels of Dalton.

“Wow. What an experience we just had.”
Willie’s Famous is not famous enough. Truly a phenomenal burger. They spared no expense on the culinary artistry factored into my ‘Elvis’ burger. Adding strawberry jelly was a magnificent touch, my first bite almost had me in tears. If you happen to be in the Dalton area, Willie’s is a must stop.

It’s always the diamond in the rough that has the best food in this place does not disappoint. The burger was amazing and can’t wait to go back and try the Philly and catfish. Worth the trip and price you pay for what you get and you will not be sorry.

How do you rate the atmosphere of a place like Willie’s? I gave it a five because I was expecting authentic and that’s what I got. Honestly the burgers were outstanding. The only reason I didn’t give it a full five stars was because the fries were pretty soggy. That being said I would totally go back the next time I drive through the area.

Wow! My husband and I were very impressed! We had heard a lot of great reviews and decided to try Willie's Famous Burgers and Fries when we were in the area. We will definitely be back! We had the delicious Philly Cheesesteak with fries! Large portions, friendly staff and fast service! 100% recommend!

I went to Willie's one day last week to get the fish sandwich which I love and some of their yummy fresh cut fries. Since it was posted on Facebook a while back that they would be bringing their fresh cut fries back, I was really looking forward to those. My hubby and daughter were in the mood for something different so we picked mine up and headed to where they wanted to eat which was just a few minutes down the road. I was excited to dig into my sandwich and fries. Much to my surprise (disappointment), they were not fresh cut fries. I was pretty upset that I had paid $3.50 for the fries I received. The fact that they were frozen crinkle fries wasn't really the bad part. The bad part is that the grease was old tasting and to make that even worse, they had cooked the fries once and then reheated them by dropping them in the bad grease again. That was very disappointing because the taste was so bad I could not eat them so I threw my $3.50 (plus tax) in the trash. I called the restaurant to let them know. The young man who answered the phone said he would let the owner know but I'm not sure he did so I thought I would put it out here. I would also like to add that since we discovered Willie's only a few months ago, we have driven 30 - 45 minutes several times because I was loving their food. I wanted to take the fries back and get my money back but hubby just wanted me to cut my losses and not go back so I guess we won't be going back and won't be bragging about Willie's to other people as we were doing before. Very disappointed.
